Re: You heard it here first

Only starting out 7-0? That might be good enough for some fans, but not this one. If you accept mediocrity, you can expect to always be mediocre.

    Re: Car Buying Process

Girlfriend and I bought a car from a dealership for the first time a few weeks ago. We told them what we would pay for the car we wanted and stuck with it. They gave 3-4 counter offers but we just...

Get the most talented players possible with the best character? Who would have thought?
  4. Re: CCL RECAP: McKay hits game-winner in debut (video)

Pretty sure its the same concussion. IT takes more than a day or two to completely recover.
  5. Re: Bulls select Arkansas forward Bobby Portis at #22

    Same to you.
  6. Re: Bulls select Arkansas forward Bobby Portis at #22

Ya, and they were pretty much all stand still, slow release jump shots. Seems like a poor man's Lamarcus Aldridge to me, although that would be serviceable I suppose.

Re: BREAKING: Prohm notches first commitment

I haven't seen a single person say they think he will be good. Just that its not a big deal to take a chance on him and maybe it'll work out. It's so stupid to rip the guy without knowing how good...

Re: BREAKING: Prohm notches first commitment

It WOULD be like that, if people were criticizing the job Bush or Obama did as president a year before they even took office.

Re: BREAKING: Prohm notches first commitment

Again, if he's not good enough to get playing time, he will transfer and free up your precious 13th scholarship. Now if they sign 7 players like him next year, you'd have something to worry about.

Re: BREAKING: Prohm notches first commitment

You are saying its a waste for this kid to be on scholarship if he doesn't play at all this year, but we should give it to a transfer who has to sit out next year and tie up a scholarship despite not...

Re: BREAKING: Prohm notches first commitment

If he ends up laying a lot, how is that a waste of a scholarship?
  12. Re: Bulls select Arkansas forward Bobby Portis at #22

Not a fan of Portis. I thought he looked stiff when we played him. Wasn't really smooth at all. Most of his points came off a VERY slow release jump shot that he got away with because we didn't...

Re: BREAKING: Prohm notches first commitment

I know higher ranked players are more likely to pan out. EVERYONE know this. I never even said I thought he would be good. My point was that it's not a big deal if he doesn't pan out. He'll just...

Re: BREAKING: Prohm notches first commitment

Not to mention Okoro, Tavon Sledge, Demarcus Phillips, Percy Gibson. People act like Fred never recruited any suspect players.

This isn't the 1990's where a bad player sits on the bench for 4...

Re: BREAKING: Prohm notches first commitment

When was the last time a player tied up a scholarship for 4 years without playing much? They transfer if they aren't going to get playing time.
  16. Re: Should be able to periscope tonight's games...

I don't think a little cell phone obstructs very much.

What are you talking about? The only North school that is better than they were 10 years ago is Missouri.

    Re: 2015 U.S. Open thread

I realize Johnson missed a bunch of short putts Sunday, but Spieth also missed 2 short par putts early in that round too.

    Re: 2015 U.S. Open thread

Spieth has become the favorite golfer for the TV guys to keep the microphone on like Tiger used to because he talks so much. I don't think they have a mic around the other players nearly as much so...
