    Re: True Detective: Season 2

I think they just went all GoT on this thing. Holy ****. His dialogue with McAdams was really good too. The only hope I have is the preview for next week says he got shot not that he was killed. I...

Does anyone know what kind of sense of humor Albaugh has? I mean, if I'm him, CW would have RuPaul tattoo'd on his forehead.

Re: Things to not go "Cheap" or "Generic"

Good point I guess. I didn't think about Firestone and Goodyear. I'm not a huge fan of either one of those.

    Re: Celebrity Crush?

Olivia Munn and more specifically, Sloan Sabbith. That's if I'm picking one. Most other have been hit on here but II'm surprised there hasn't been a Biel or McAdams reference.

    Re: True Detective: Season 2

Any show that begins with Rachel McAdams in her undies showing that thing off wins my heart. I can't wait to see where her character goes.

The rest of the show was good too.

    Re: 2015 U.S. Open thread

About the putting, I think it was the Masters and someone asked a former player analyst if he had ever seen putting like Spieths before. His answer was, "Yeah, Tiger, for 10 years." That's what it's...

    Re: 2015 U.S. Open thread

They had that green shading which was cool and they have the yardage markers out there. I thought the ball tracer was neat but on that course it didn't seem to work the best.

    Re: 2015 U.S. Open thread

If Spieth has a weakness, I'd say it's his driving. He isn't all that long or accurate. Like yesterday, he hit driver, 3 wood. Johnson went Driver 5 iron. That's where Rory can make up some of the...

Right. I was trying to find some sort of modern point of reference.

    Re: 2015 U.S. Open thread

In the mid 2000s? Yes. Certainly not in the early 2000s or the last couple years before the scandal, but Phil at his best would score lower than Tiger at his best in roughly 2003-2006. The problem...

    Re: 2015 U.S. Open thread

We'll see. With Rory, I don't see that maniacal desire to be great. I don't know if Spieth has been around enough to really judge that yet. Just by some of the things Rory has said, he seems to...

    Re: 2015 U.S. Open thread

No way. Rory is more explosive, for lack of a better term and his best is better than anyone else's best due to that. He made next to nothing this week and has a shot, albeit a small one coming down...

    Re: 2015 U.S. Open thread

Right, and that clearly bothered Spieth which is kind of my point. Don't get me wrong, Spieth is cool. I just don't think he's completely unflappable as evidenced by 17 yesterday. If Johnson doesn't...

    Re: 2015 U.S. Open thread

Not arguing that. My point is just that he isn't this cool customer he is made out to be all of the time.

And no, I don't believe that if they are in the same group in the same position, he can...

    Re: 2015 U.S. Open thread

Yeah and I don't get that because when others do similar things, they get called out constantly. I always hear about how mature he is but on the course he doesn't come off that way to me. The talking...

    Re: 2015 U.S. Open thread

No, it wasn't going to matter. My point was that the complaining about it because you hit it in a bunker and didn't get it out was needless.

    Re: 2015 U.S. Open thread

I have a question. How come Spieth gets away with every little pity party he throws whenever something doesn't go quite right? He's starting to kind of annoy me with his whining. Also, 18 should have...
