  1. Re: ***OFFICIAL*** Bulls confident Hoiberg next Bulls coach

I don't really care about the NBA at all, and don't watch hardly any games, but I will actually be hoping the Bulls are horrible next year.

As a person I know that is a horrible thing to do.......

Re: SOURCE: Hoiberg/Bulls not a "done deal"

    Correct.

Using statistics, which I'm not very good at so maybe this is isn't accurate, but the likelihood of 1 event indicating something is true is probably about 50-50. But if you have 2...
  3. Re: Does the legacy of the "mayor" change after this?

IMO, it doesn't tarnish his "legacy". He gave us 5 good years, brought some of the Hilton Magic back, gave us some great wins, and also was a class act as a head coach the entire time (unlike Fran...
  4. Re: List of potential replacements should Fred Hoiberg leave

I think he likely is as well. However, as the AD, JP has to at least throw some money at him and see if he'll bite.

It will be disturbing if TJ is hired as our next head coach and we come to...

Re: SOURCE: Hoiberg/Bulls not a "done deal"

Going back to CW's original post.... please don't tell me that anyone is gullible enough to believe that this was not a "done deal" yet? C'mon, we all need to be smarter than that.

    CW says...

Poll: Re: How successful will Fred be as Bulls coach?

No, not any better than Thibs anyway.

He is set up to fail there IMO. He will be GarPax's little beeyoch for one thing. He also has an aging roster, and will be in a city where if you don't win...

Re: Hoiberg Watch 2015: Thursday, May 28 Thread

No, he's known he's going to be the next Bulls coach for a while now. Today was just a formality.
  8. Re: List of potential replacements should Fred Hoiberg leave

If he doesn't, he needs to be shown the door.

It's time to step up. TJ can be the fall back if needed, but Horny MUST at least be contacted.
  9. Re: List of potential replacements should Fred Hoiberg leave

Fred has had a behind the scenes deal to be the next Bulls head coach since shortly before TJ came back IMO.

Thibs was NEVER going to be back, even if they had won it all. That's how bad that...

Re: Hoiberg Watch 2015: Thursday, May 28 Thread

Good post. Everyone always says how "competitive" Fred is. I don't really believe that anymore.

If he was a true competitor, he wouldn't leave his team, and his school, hanging like this...
  11. Re: List of potential replacements should Fred Hoiberg leave

He doesn't say "no", does he. Interesting.
  12. Re: List of potential replacements should Fred Hoiberg leave

If TJ is the man, then I agree that this has been a done deal ever since he came back here from Washington.

It has been VERY obvious ever since he came back, but none of us really wanted to...

Re: Hoiberg Watch 2015: Thursday, May 28 Thread

Yep.... thanks a lot Fred. You could have hung that banner you talked about, but now you're last game will be one where you were severely outcoached by flippin' Jarrod Haase and lost in the first...

Re: * Hoiberg Watch 2015: Wednesday, May 27 Thread

I'm about 99% sure that Fred will not be with ISU this year, and I'm about 75% sure that Otz will be the next head coach here.

I would be shocked at this point if Fred is back, and I'll be...
  15. Re: Cyclone football revenues up dramatically in 2014!

I would be ticked if I were a Michigan fan. #3 in revenue, and have not been good in football for quite a while now.

Minnesota is not doing well either for what they rake in. Iowa too for...

Re: Regarding Andy Katz' Tim Floyd mention

Yeah, probably.... however, I don't think I'd like to see what financial condition the program would be in. There seem to be some posters on here that think we can go out and pay someone 4-5...

    Re: Reasons to be Optimistic

Now I think I understand why we'll always be the lovable losers.... kind of like the Cubs I guess?

No matter how bad it gets, just put on the blinders, forget the last season completely and just...

Re: Regarding Andy Katz' Tim Floyd mention

FWIW.... if my two choices were Floyd or Eustachy..... I'd take Floyd. I just don't want to see Eustachy coaching the Cyclones ever again. Too embarrassing on and off the court IMO.

    Now, if...

  20. Re: Dougie McBuckets signing autographs today

Pretty much never got to play, except in garbage time. Great bench player for Hoiberg....... not.
