Re: Interesting Chicago Bulls Forums Thread

    But he's soooo cute.
  2. Re: Gary Parrish "ISU AD Jamie Pollard is handling Bulls-Hoiberg situation perfectly"

Good question. All the other AD.'s up there are in powerhouse programs that should be loaded with cash. Vandy sure doesn't fit that mold.
  3. Re: Gary Parrish "ISU AD Jamie Pollard is handling Bulls-Hoiberg situation perfectly"

    Wow, thanks for the info.
  4. Re: Gary Parrish "ISU AD Jamie Pollard is handling Bulls-Hoiberg situation perfectly"

It sounds like Fred's latest contract gets him into the top 10 but I'd be very surprised if JP's pay is in the top 10 of all athletic directors.

Re: Interesting Chicago Bulls Forums Thread

Not saying it didn't happen but that's sure not like the Chris Williams I know.
  6. Re: Rob Gray: Rhoads intent on recreating desired culture in program

I'm not giving up on CPR yet, but if a change has to be made I agree that a proven head coach, even from a lower level, is the way to go. An exception might be for a sharp d-1 offensive coordinator...
  7. Re: Rob Gray: Rhoads intent on recreating desired culture in program

I get tired of some people being so negative on our football history. I've pointed out our historical winning percentage is about 46% and CPR is now well below that. And I don't remember two years...

    Re: Reasons to be Optimistic

Questioning the direction of the football program right now doesn't mean you're a CPR hater. It may mean you love the Cyclones enough to be concerned if we have the right leadership to be a...

Re: WWJD- What Will Jamie Do?

I think the chances of Fred "stumbling around" are pretty remote, but even if we became an average program, which means NCAA some years, NIT others, I think Fred is so revered that nobody would be...

Re: WWJD- What Will Jamie Do?

Some people call it street ball, others call it up tempo or run and gun. Stinson to Blaylock to Clark for a monster slam was a thing of beauty, and got us 4 post season wins in 3 years.

    Re: Reasons to be Optimistic

Can't say that 110 has been arrogant or obnoxious in what he's posted. He's not on here bragging about the hoks, he realizes they're down. If misery loves company, hawk and clone football fans...

Re: McKay adding a new dimension to his game

Might have been the same shot shown over and over again. :skeptical: Seriously, he's shown in warm ups he's got a pretty good looking jumper and I'm sure he'll be using it more in the pre-conference...

    Re: Reasons to be Optimistic

I think most fans agree with this, including myself, and I think ISU generally has had more patience with their coaches than most power 5 schools (except for Morgan, but that's a basketball...

    Re: Reasons to be Optimistic

CPR has had some huge wins, no doubt, but the bad losses have come lately. I think we both agree this is the year he needs to make fans forget them.

    Re: Reasons to be Optimistic

Johnny had a big name when he came to ISU, so the fans were so hyped that he came. And no doubt Johnnys' outgoing and ornery personality was a huge part of his popularity.

    Re: Reasons to be Optimistic

Not that OU and Texas are bad by any means, but they sure aren't what they used to be. They both pretty much embarrassed the conference in their bowl games last year.

Re: RP's article on Cyclone draft drought

It would help both iSU and Iowa if when there is a great Iowa high school player in their back yard like David Johnson, offer him a scholarship.

Re: 3 New Bowl Games Added

I've hyped the Big 12 as much as anybody to my Big 10 friends the last few years, but lately I get it shoved back in my face during the bowl season, so I'm keeping my mouth shut until the Big 12...
