Re: Interesting Chicago Bulls Forums Thread

Well it's official - 100% of all ISU fans would not take the Bulls job if they were Fred.

Re: Royce White will attempt comeback

The NBA average salary is $5.1M so this decision would seem wise from a financial standpoint.
  3. Re: Gary Parrish "ISU AD Jamie Pollard is handling Bulls-Hoiberg situation perfectly"

It just amazes me that people think that JP should do something to force Fred's hand. Fred has all the control - 8 years left on his contract at $2.6M per year.

I can just hear the conversation...
  4. Re: What is the deal with the Silence? P.S. Sorry About Another Hoiberg Thread

You're losing respect for someone who hasn't publically stated that he wants a job (and would accept a job) that somebody else currently has.

Would you go to your boss tomorrow and tell them that...

Re: WWJD- What Will Jamie Do?

Johnny Orr had a winning Div 1 record before he came to ISU. Same for Floyd, LE, Morgan and McDermott. Fred had 10 years in the NBA plus front office experience.

We have just had 4 consecutive...

Re: WWJD- What Will Jamie Do?

Jamie has hired 2 head football coaches and 2 head men's basketball coaches at ISU. Only one of those has a winning record. A .250 batting average for an athletic director is pretty bad. If Fred...

Re: My MBB short list for coaches.

Hiring TJ would be a return of the Wayne Morgan Syndrome. Hiring a new head coach because he happens to be the best person already employed by you when the opening occurs, rather than doing a...

Not catchy name, but I still have my Raymond House Screaming Eagles sweatshirt from 1965.

Gee officer, I'm at least generally aware that I may have been speeding at 90 miles per hour, but I'm too drunk to know for sure.

    MLB: Re: Brewers Fire Manager

So I guess Roenicke is now available to be hired as the next ISU baseball coach. (Just making a tentative list in case).

Re: Your strategies to improve game-flow

    Poll: MLB: Re: DH Rule

There is a long standing fallacy that the DH produces so much more offense.

Last year the AL scored 343 more runs total than the NL. That amounts to about 23 runs per team per year, or a little...

    Re: NCAA Transfer Changes

I'm guessing that requiring a grad to sit out a year prior to playing would pretty much end the program. A player like BDJ probably wouldn't sit out a year here to play one, more likely to just stay...

Re: BLOG: Two points on basketball recruiting

I don't see the need to save a scholarship for a potential mid-year transfer. McKay and Burton both paid their own way for a semester so it seems there are good players who a willing to do that.
