Re: Moody moved back to Texas

Yeah, Moody's our all-time assist leader. Think about that for a minute, with all of the guards that we've had come through here. Her name is all over the record books. She can create her own shot...

Re: Moody moved back to Texas

Agree with this. Iowa isn't going anywhere. They have upped their recruiting to another level the last 4 years.

Re: Moody moved back to Texas

Agree with this general summary. The staff has been proud to say to recruits, and rightly so, that ISU women's basketball is a "top 25 program" along with being "the best program in Iowa." They...

Re: Moody moved back to Texas

Wow - please support these statements? It's so easy to throw out general and vague accusations without any evidence or supporting info. It's irresponsible to claim these things with no facts to...

Re: ISU 7th in wrestling attendance

Uh, I'm talking about "butts in seats," not "tickets sold." Hello?

Re: ISU 7th in wrestling attendance

Whoa - never said that WBB averaged 10,000 "butts in the seats." I'm saying that comparing our WBB and wrestling attendance is just ridiculous.
Case in point: I attended 2 wrestling meets this...

Re: ISU 7th in wrestling attendance

People who claim that WBB crowds are around "4,000" are not attending games.

Re: ISU 7th in wrestling attendance

Is this a joke? I went to wrestling meets when we averaged more than we do now, and I attend WBB games. Butts in the seats attendance at wrestling is not close to that of WBB. Not even close. ...

Re: ISU 7th in wrestling attendance

FYI: tennis and swimming don't get "any attention" at ISU. Their facilities/venues are crap.

Re: Terry Ayeni Arrested for Disorderly Conduct

I doubt that the boys at Beardshear are jumping for joy about the coach's son getting arrested and the bottom scrolls on ESPN...
  12. Re: Do JTS upgrades really give us a big boost?

I hope so too. The Rolling Stones are staging concerts at numerous college stadiums this summer, and at least two of those - NC State and Georgia Tech - have natural grass.

Re: Other Tournament Games of Interest

As an impressed Geno said at half, Dayton has tough girls, and they are very competitive. I claimed earlier that drawing Dayton was a "dream match up" for ISU; obviously it was anything but. Very...

Re: Other Tournament Games of Interest

Agree - just like every other year. Their D just shut down Iowa's shooters. What tenacity.
