    Re: **** Official Transfer List '15 ****

If you're bringing in someone for next year, why not shoot for a guy that can give you more than 2 min/game in conference play?
  2. Re: NCAA no longer granting immediate eligibility waivers for four-year transfers

It's not OK to give kids a second chance if they feel they picked the wrong school. That ability should be reserved for coaches and AD's only

    Re: Next Season

Same was said of Hogue so there is precedent for a guy like him making a fairly big impact.

    Re: New Transfer Target?

Bash Spangler and his dad all you want, but if he played for ISU we would likely still be playing right now...

He would be our #1 rebounder and we certainly could have used his effort last week.

    Re: Elephant in the room

I think this tourney will make it really apparent to our players, that it can be really painful to not take EVERY team serious when you get into March.

The fact is, any team in the tournament,...

    Re: New Transfer Target?

Looks like he scores and rebounds pretty well. The A10 is a pretty solid league too. Maybe it's not the ACC, but we're not talking about the Colonial League or something like that either.

    Re: Recruiting information?

Probably not new recruits, but I bet the transfer market will be heating up significantly and we'll factor into some of those guys.

    Re: Recruiting information?

I agree. I think Fred will be really excited to play Monte and Cooke together a fair amount. We love to run, and having two guys that can attack and initiate offense will be helpful.

    We don't...

Re: Big 12 is choking bad

By seed we should have 4 in the Sweet 16.

Also we had 7 tourney spots the B1G had 7 I beleive.

Re: Big 12 is choking bad

This is exactly what the B1G said about bowl season for about 30 years.

Pretty sure most Cyclone fans didn't buy it

Re: Big 12 is choking bad

Deniers can spin it how they want it, but this league has been REALLY bad in the NCAA tournament for well over a decade now.

Re: Any legs to this one?

Serious question.... How would anyone here know whether there were legs to this rumor? It's not like Fred or his family are posters here.

These rumors will pop up each year from now until he...

    Re: Tsalmpouris

Haha, McKay isn't a lock to start?

He's our best defensive player by a long shot, best rebounder, and roughly our 3rd best scoring option.

He also appears to have his head screwed squarely on,...

    Re: UCLA vs. UAB

This is part of the problem IMHO.

The B12 plays soft but entertaining MBB and FB.

Then when post season comes around we fold like a bad tent to teams from other leagues when they punch us in...

Not sure where his minutes come from. If he stays with it and keeps gaining weight and maturing physically I could see him contributing in 2016-17

Re: SIAP: Travis Hines with a great article

Effort may not be the right word but we definitely lacked something on the boards Thursday.

Effort, tenacity, desire, focus, whatever it was, we lacked it to get out rebounded by such a large...

Re: SIAP: Travis Hines with a great article

We have 9 wins over teams that are still playing. That means we have some pretty good talent.

We may not have final four talent, but this team certainly had Sweet 16 talent.

    We did not get beat...

Re: Thought I'd give it time to simmer ...

Ya we SHOULD have a special year next year and I don't see us losing any major pieces but as this year taught us you can never assume any certain amount of success.

    We just missed a big...
