    Re: Texas on the bubble?

KU is pretty weak inside (relative to most KU teams). Texas has some talent in the paint. That's about where my optimism ends. Certainly will be cheering for them to pull it off.

    Re: McKay/Thomas Peaking?

I don't know what some of you are watching with Morris. He is a good defender and covers Naz and Thomas' *** nearly every possession. Naz and Thomas are hopeless against a ball screen.

Re: KU @ KSU on Big Monday

If only Marcus Foster was as good as he thinks he is.

That's a guy that went from an unknown to a media darling and can't handle success. Not the first 19-year-old to have that happen, but man,...

Re: Rounding out the regular season

I don't think I'll ever feel comfortable watching ISU play at KSU. It's just too dark.

I think we drop 1. I don't know where, we just can't possibly win 7 straight to end the regular season,...

Re: where do you think we'll be ranked Monday?

Just general observation of tweets, websites, television shows. You know, the people that vote on the poll. I could be wrong, but with UNC/Duke on Wednesday and the late upset bids (Gonzaga, Ariz)...

Re: where do you think we'll be ranked Monday?

I don't see us jumping much. I wouldn't be surprised to see us at 12 or 13. We jump Louisville and probably Wichita State. No way we jump UNI. They didn't lose to crappy teams! I don't think we jump...

    Re: NWCA National Duals

Hadn't watched Gilman until today, but had heard he was a tool. Confirmed. What a sore loser punk. That crap comes straight from the top. I was really hoping Cael could put together about 12 straight...
  8. Re: Second half clinic: Outstanding movement, shot selection, and decision making

Fred should have used a timeout after we missed one. Momentum was shifting.
  9. Re: Second half clinic: Outstanding movement, shot selection, and decision making

No need to respond to the one paragraph when he bring sup some good points in the paragraphs before. I watched the game but could not give it my full attention. Three plays stood out:

    1. Monte is...

    Re: Hoiberg the TO bully

I didn't say if they were useful facts, just that they were facts. You brought zero facts to your argument, yet criticized others for not bringing facts to the argument. That puts those bringing...

    Re: Hoiberg the TO bully

This is a partial fallacy. Points are no more important at this juncture in the game than they are anywhere else.

    Re: Hoiberg the TO bully

Exactly what facts did you bring to the argument? I've seen others post records to support their argument. Yours? Just anecdotal analysis.
  13. Re: *** Official #14 IOWA STATE vs Texas Game(day) Thread ***

By almost pulled out the win, they pulled within four once and never threatened the lead. So close.

    Re: Matt Thomas predictions

He was playing full speed. No hesitations or doubt. He definitely needs to use his drive more often because he's pretty good at the floater, and as someone mentioned, it was his go-to shot in high...
  15. Re: Monte one of 17 finalists on latest Cousy Award watch list

I think Wright or Pangos are probably the front-runners unless Jones continues his recent performances. If so, he probably deserves it.
  16. Re: ARTICLE: Jameel McKay taking it 500 shots at a time

This is D-1 basketball. Gameplans and scouting reports are way more intricate and detail-oriented than the average fan thinks. Eustachy gave out packets of information before every game and the...

    Re: The Closer

Except most people don't like Metallica. I would prefer a big hip hop beat. Kansas, the most traditional basketball school in the league, absolutely blares some questionable rap before tip and...

    Re: The Closer

Niang and our offense are at their best when Georges is looking to pass first. Especially on the drive from the wing or top of the key. I love his post game on the blocks, but he's been pushed out to...

    Re: Matt Thomas predictions

The dip creates rhythm on the shot. It's a part of every shooter's technique. How many times has he been blocked in games? I'd be more concerned with his step into the shot. It's generally accepted...

    Re: Monte's Assist/Turnover

This team would absolutely be worse with Marcus Foster and without Monte Morris. No doubt in my mind.

KenPom has Forte at SG 84% of the time the last 5 games, Hickey at PG 79% and Tyree Griffin at...
