    Re: WVU @ KSU

If a whopping 3 more fouls per game than KSU is a different level in your mind, then I guess I can't argue with you. You're both in the bottom 25% of the NCAA in fouls per game. WVU's pressure...

    Re: WVU @ KSU

KSU is at 20 fouls per game this year. Good for 272nd in the NCAA, or bottom 25% of the country.
Last year they were even higher at 21 fouls per game. 316th in the country.
    Weber's first year was...

Re: "I'm just here so I won't get fined."

This. He obviously doesn't care about the money. And it's funny to watch the NFL squirm as they try to get him to comply. It's nothing more than entertainment for him, as it should be for us...

    Re: "Dead" Cat comes back

no kidding. That's not a story I plan on sharing with my son or daughter until they're old enough to drink. I think if I found out that my father let a bunch of cats eat his foot, I'd probably want...

    Re: "Dead" Cat comes back

    #farmpets.

This one makes me sound stupid, because... well, it's pretty stupid, but when I was about 9 years old, my mom had made a big pancake breakfast for the family. When we were done, she...

    Re: "Dead" Cat comes back

Don't worry. This guy joined up with the military after high school, and traded in cats for enemy combatants, so his "talents" were put to good use.

    Re: "Dead" Cat comes back

There was a guy I went to middle school with who suggested, one night when we were hanging out looking for something to do, that we should round up a bunch of stray cats, put them in a burlap sack,...

NFL: Re: New England under investigation

Could be, but don't the officials mark the checked balls after they've been checked? I thought that was part of the rules.

    Re: "Dead" Cat comes back

My mother closed the car door on the tail of the family cat, once upon a time. We didn't find out about it until we'd driven about 5 miles down the road when we head him howling. Rubbed all the fur...

NFL: Re: New England under investigation

I'm saying that it's still in question as to whether or not that would be enough time. It's not a settled fact like stormin indicated earlier.

NFL: Re: New England under investigation

Maybe, maybe not. That's still up for debate. 90 seconds isn't a long time. Could it be done? Maybe. But as I said, the opportunity question is not settled.

NFL: Re: New England under investigation

Opportunity is still very much in question. The report is that the ball boy was in the bathroom for 90 seconds. Is 90 seconds enough time to take 11 footballs out of a bag, deflate them to...

NFL: Re: New England under investigation

I like how the Pats floated the "temperature changes between when the balls were tested and their use on the field caused the drop in pressure" excuse. Did they not think people would do the math on...

    NFL: Re: Pro Bowl

I personally find the Pro Bowl unwatchable, but it just blows me away how popular it is. It's the highest rated all star game of any professional sport, and more watched than any NHL, NBA, or MLB...

NFL: Re: New England under investigation

I see Belichick did the expected amount of pearl clutching, in his news conference this morning. He's "shocked" just "shocked" to hear of these allegations.

NFL: Re: New England under investigation

I don't know if they actually need video of it to assess punishment. We know that they were tested by the refs and approved, 2 hours before the game. The fact that 11 of the 12 were found to be...
