    Re: COLLEGE GAME DAY: Michigan

Harbaugh: Their out of conference was rough, but they have a 5-2 record in the Big Ten if I remember correctly. However, with LaVert out the rest of the year, that doesn't bode well. Reputation.

Re: More Players Out the Door

I might buy this logic if the primary guy that kept him from seeing time was an all league performer who exhauseted his eligibility and won't be playing TE for us next year.

    Re: Recruit Lists v2.0

SDW's scholarship is not available until next year. Counting his, we have 13 scholarship players, so no scholarship available this semester for Burton. We have three seniors, in BDJ, Hogue and...

And please ask Dustin to stay after practice with you to get some extra ones in.
  6. Re: Will Cyclone Free Throw Shooting Give Us a Heart Attack?

And he shoots the second most FTs after Niang. Strangely enough, he has the highest 3PT% on the team of those pulling major minutes (The Greek has hit 2 of 3 for the best unqualified %)
  7. Re: Will Cyclone Free Throw Shooting Give Us a Heart Attack?

    I would take the 70"s on FT%.
  8. Re: Will Cyclone Free Throw Shooting Give Us a Heart Attack?

You know we are cynical fans when we complain about our play AFTER we just beat Kansas. But I also know the difference in 10-15% on our FT shooting will be the difference in key games yet this year -...
  9. Will Cyclone Free Throw Shooting Give Us a Heart Attack?

Basking in the glory of the game, I couldn't help think what a beat down it would have been on KU had we hit a few more free throws as they wouldn't have been in the game. Love the win, but dang that...

    Re: Dear West Virginia

Read the WVU boards and they thought the refs stunk calling lots of ticky tack on them and not enough on us. I get that is true for both teams' fan bases in most games, but when they mug people up...

Re: Cyclones vow to learn from Saturday's loss

Free throws were a bigger deal than the 3 point shooting. If we hit better in the first half we go into the locker room with a lead and different momentum. Yes our interior D broke down at...
  13. Re: anyone catch Hoiberg on Coach K's show; Basketball and Beyond?

Yeah, can't wait until he gives them some new material like a top 10 signee and/or a final four birth.

    Re: All-time defensive players

I remember that game. People who don't remember Wayman Tisdale won't understand how big of an accomplishment that was. He was first team All American THREE YEARS IN A ROW! That was hack a Wayman by...

    Re: Iowa Game Rewatch

Hogue's rebounding from the start of the game really got us going there too. He was a true animal on the boards.

    Re: soundoff

That is a deeper bench than Fred has ever had to play with at ISU. There is some size (Edozie, McKay, Nadar, The Greek), scoring punch (Nadar, Thomas), instant energy (McKay)...etc.

    Re: Hoiberg on Rome tomorrow

Great find on the article! I remember it seemed like a deep bench player was sent in to get Hornacek out of the game and Grayer stepped in and took care of it.

I remember a game against Nebraska when one of their players was trying to get Hornacek into a fight, when Grayer stepped in and took the guy out. Georges is getting into that kind of love land...
