Re: Iowa HS FB -- Week 9

IMO the state has opened themselves up to a lot of accusations and criticism by not setting brackets ahead of time.
I still think in 4A (Western IA) things will get seeded and they will play it out...

Re: Iowa HS FB -- Week 9

Urbandale/Fort Dodge has some implications as far as who will get to host a first round game.
Very curious to see outcome of Ankeny/SEP game though. Ankeny had some very tough luck early in the year...

Re: Iowa HS FB -- Week 8

I don't think either the Valley game or Waukee game will be within 3 or 4 scores.
I have been very vocal about opposing the playoff expansion the last several years but one thing it certainly does...

Re: Infant and Pregnancy Loss Awarness Day

We lost what would have been our third. Was tough but the doctors were so good about it that it made it much easier. Plus at that point with 2 others we had our hands full. I'm sure it is much more...

Re: Things Heard at the Game

Why did that small part of the student section insist on starting "CYCLONE POWER" when we were driving? Have some football knowledge.
  8. How much would a "normal" schedule have changed things?

I believe confidence is huge in sports. What if we played all our non con first 3 games like everyone else and are 2-1 playing K-state. Does the game end differently?
Nothing we can do about it now...

Re: what are the biggest perks of your job

Freedom. Work when I want and no questions asked as long as work gets done. Have had full weeks where I don't go to office. Can do a lot from home. Pension plan and 401k, 1-3 trips a year to...

Can we get another update after lunch today?
  11. Sticky: Re: *** In honor of Pollard fine, HELP raise 25 K for Blank Children's Hospital ***

Just sent another tweet. I encourage everyone to do that as well-
Thanks to @Big12Conference for all the money being donated to @blankchildrens by @CycloneFB fans! How about a $25k match with your...

Shoot I donated yesterday and missed the part about sending a thank you note to Bowlsby. How does that get done?

I've been getting a few retweets on my comments to the @Big12Conference. I'd encourage everyone to tweet them and send emails/call. That could make this a very big deal
  15. Sticky: Re: *** In honor of Pollard fine, HELP raise 25 K for Blank Children's Hospital ***

I just tweeted @Big12Conference and told them about this and since they've got an extra 25k in their pocket how about a match incentive.
  16. Sticky: Re: *** In honor of Pollard fine, HELP raise 25 K for Blank Children's Hospital ***

What does everyone think of bombarding the Big 12 @Big12Conference to match up to $25k?
