    Re: Helping kids with homework

That's the thing- the assignments straight out of the textbook are easier to explain because I can read back through (though sometimes that is even sketchy ), but assignments like this one had to...

    Re: Cheick Diallo

Fred can win big with top 50-100 recruits, along with transfers (that has obviously been proven). I'm not a bit worried about future talent. Kids like Diallo would push the team from "could make...

    Re: Helping kids with homework

Proofs are the creation of pure evil.

I'm actually really good at your basic math and algebra. At least algebra came back to me. The rest I just left in the distant past and I feel like I need...

    Helping kids with homework

....is a great way to get a headache.

My son is taking Advanced Geometry, and it's been over 25 years since I even looked at that kind of thing.

What drives me really nuts is the book will show...

Re: The proof is in the next few games!

I think we can win the next three (including OU). I think 2-1 would be good through that stretch, and 1-2 would be disappointing. Time to put it all together and pull off some wins!

  7. Re: Malik Dime---Indian Hills

Well, I think we were all looking at the lineup and wondering where exactly he fit next year. I'm sure he would have been a great pick up, but not a shoe-in starter by any means with a completely...

Re: Top Double-Double Machines in 2014-2015

It will be really interesting to see the changing roles, and what Fred decides to do with them. Melvin certainly lit things up when Hogue took over his role as board monster. Not sure that Hogue...

    Re: Golf Club Advice

I did one golf lesson and found out what was wrong with my swing: everything. I'm a decent golfer the way I do it, and suck *** the way I was advised to do it, so I'm just living with it.
  11. Re: Malik Dime---Indian Hills

It'll be mysterious and possibly encoded. Everyone should probably hang on every word, and panic.

Re: Placing the blame on the defense

Yeah, that one was on the defense, but sadly they've played several games where they've played winning ball and the offense wasn't there. Have to put the two together, and I think we will.

    Re: Lazard

I think, in part, that is an Iowa kid thing. That's one of the things I love most about Jake Knott.
  14. Re: Finally, Iowa St has a group of Big 12 type of wide receivers.

Not only that, with QB back next year, we likely have one of the top groups in the Big 12

    Re: OFFENSE OFFENSE OFFENSE!!!

Yeah, very impressed and encouraged by the play throughout the offense.

Just need to put that together with the defense we're used to and there will be some good wins.

    Re: Defensive Tackles

I don't think they did. It almost looked like they were working on his hand, but hard to say.

Re: Why not go for two?

I kind of think that Mangino is trying to drill into Sam some decisiveness, and the mindset to not be so careful and there's a downside to that. There's also an upside, as he was way less hesitant...

Re: So close to being a solid team.

The positive is that our offense just shredded the #3 defense in the country. They are light years ahead of where they were early in the year. Unfortunately, I think we game planned to force their...
