Re: 2015 QB Dominic DeLira Thoughts...

Thanks for the info, kind of sounds like he would have had to play pretty well from the get go to beat out Brewer. Crazy to think of these Texas schools that have back up QB's with Big 12 offers
  2. Re: What will be talked more about by commentators this yr?

I think we'll see the video of the injury every nationally televised game.

Re: Who leads the team in 3 pointers made?

Good point, after his fr year the line was "Imagine if Georges could stay out of foul trouble", we saw how that worked out. A couple %'s higher this year and you are realistically looking at a guy...
  4. Re: Why has EJ Bibbs been so silent? Why burn the RS's?

Bibbs has clearly been the focus of each defense we've played. Even the catches he's made have been tough catches. He hasn't had much room to work.

As far as RS, I agree with CPR about the RB...
  5. Re: What will be talked more about by commentators this yr?

You forgot the long line of transfers, that gets mentioned every game
  6. Re: VIDEO: Get to know Oklahoma State; Mike Gundy presser

I'd like to know Okie St's record post rant. Seems like it was right before they got things rolling.

    Re: Spread Vs. OSU

ISU can hang around the K State's of the world who are content to dink and dunk you, not so much explosive offenses like Okie St will bring. I'd take the K state matchup every day of the week.
  8. Re: Baylor vs ISU draws the lowest rating ever for a primetime college football game.

If you've got at least some middle school football experience then you should be okay.

Re: Charlie Weis Fired from KU

I'd say Weis and Turner Gill both took bumps to their rep for their stays in Lawrence.

That's all Briles, its crazy how good he is, I'm not sure there's a more prepared team offensively than Baylor.

NFL: Re: FCC sports blackout rule eliminated

Eh, the NFL will probably just claim they never got a copy of the memo about the rule change.

Re: Who leads the team in 3 pointers made?

If the ? is who will shoot the most 3s, Georges hands down and I'm okay with that. The threat of Georges on the perimeter opens things up for everyone else.

Re: Who leads the team in 3 pointers made?

Georges or Naz, for whatever reason I'm iffy on Thomas. Last year he didn't handle going from starting to the bench very well, things just got in his head and his shot struggled. With his suspension...

    Re: Spread Vs. OSU

Exactly, they are the youngest team in the big 12 but have stockpiled great recruiting classes. I think ppl don't give them credit unless they are throwing for 500yds a game. Last year was the best...

    Re: Spread Vs. OSU

Okie St is a bad, bad matchup for us. They have way more speed and their coaching staff has done a great job since the back up QB has had to play. Historically when OSU beats us bad, they run the...

Re: "Fans" booing our own team

Clearly ISU fans should be a target, I mean we are so spoiled by success that we only show up when the team is competing for conference championships and going to big bowl games.

    Re: WR ISU career firsts.

Montgomery and Lazard outside should scare other teams, Baylor played right into it the other night and we didn't/couldn't take advantage of it.

Re: "Fans" booing our own team

Even the players would boo the playcalling on the first possession.

Re: Who Should Be Kansas's Next Football Coach?

We can narrow the KU search down, list all candidates by weight, they've shown body mass is a big factor in who they hire.

    Re: The offense last night

The offense has glimpses of being good but still has a ways to go. Watching Baylor (and every other team who successfully runs the Spread offense) the biggest difference is at QB. Petty and even...
