Re: Iowa farmers : How much would you charge?

I think it's cool the OP asked this. Seriously though, most farmers will show you around for the day.

Re: 2015 QB Dominic DeLira Thoughts...

Thanks for the update. I personally really liked this kid on video. Not being a dual-threat would limit our offense some, but Mangino knows how to work around that.
  3. Re: Why has EJ Bibbs been so silent? Why burn the RS's?

If he's being double and triple teamed then our other guys need to get open. I highly doubt Mangino and Sturdy are telling Sam to through into double and triple coverage.
  4. Re: VIDEO: Get to know Oklahoma State; Mike Gundy presser

Loved everything Gundy said during that rant, but I still get a crack out of the "I'm a man, I'm 40." It's one of several times a coach has ranted and we make fun of them, but we really should be...

Re: "Fans" booing our own team

I personally didn't find the leaving at half all that frustrating. When the game is very likely out of reach I understand fans leaving early. I'll never understand the booing though. I can't figure...

Re: I'm not giving up on this team

Interesting, because in a previous forum you gave your input on the 2nd half of the Baylor game which you also did not watch.

Re: Who leads the team in 3 pointers made?

Hopefully Naz or Thomas. I'm not saying that because I think anybody else is a bad shooter, but if it's one of those guys then they are playing to their strengths and it's more likely the rest of the...

According to the depth chart he hasn't, but the depth chart may not be correct either.

Re: "Fans" booing our own team

Very true, but I get the sense from some people that it is conservative=bad and aggressive=good and that is not always the case.

Anyway, I'm turning in for the night.

Re: "Fans" booing our own team

Tell that to Jim Tressel. He sure won a lot of games playing conservatively. Shot, even Hoiberg has been conservative late in games, and it cost him some his first couple seasons.

Re: "Fans" booing our own team

Playing to minimize the damage is a way to play to win. Be conservative and try to force the opponent to make more mistakes than you make. Some people seem to think playing to win is only when...

    Re: Missing ISU student

You aren't being a conspiracy theorist there, just logical. The media that has dollar signs in mind is naturally going to report on the more marketable story. That is often the good looking college...

    Re: Missing ISU student

As of a few days ago I attributed it to being because that involved a likely murder and we didn't know near as much about this one. Now I think it's safe to say they should both be getting similar...

Re: "Fans" booing our own team

I believe they were still playing to win, just doing it differently than others wanted them too. I wish they would have been more aggressive, but I understand Rhoads's reasoning.

Re: I'm not giving up on this team

Don't know if I'm as positive as you but there are definitely wins left on the schedule. Even the Oklahoma and Okie State games are winnable. Our defense will be pretty solid by the OU game and Okie...

Re: "Fans" booing our own team

A pick six or a fumble returned for a touchdown could have happened, as well as Baylor getting the ball back via turnover with enough time to be aggressive even if they had a ways to go to score.

Rhoads did. I personally didn't like it, but I know where he's coming from.

Re: "Fans" booing our own team

To some extent they existed, but on average teams move run plays much faster now.
