Re: Is the Rhubarb, Burdock or Hemlock?

I've grown lots of rhubarb. I've just never grown any that stayed completely green throughout the entire season.

Re: Is the Rhubarb, Burdock or Hemlock?

Shouldn't rhubarb have some red coloring to it by now?

Re: Additional Redshirt Burned - Windham?

Towards the end of the game, I vaguely remember the TV announcers mentioning that somebody had to change jerseys, and I thought it was an ISU player. Maybe that player changed into Windham's jersey?...

    Re: Ryder Cup

I'm sure the attitude that you speak of plays some part, but the bottom line is that the Euros are just flat out better golfers overall. They consistently make shots, and the US players don't. Pods...

    Re: Caleb Shudak

A win in that game would have made ISU 7-4, and with a win over OU, might have been enough to make a bowl back at that time...

    Re: Caleb Shudak

I think this was 1990...it was a wind tunnel game late in the season, with a stiff wind blowing in from the north. Shudak had 5 FGs that game. ISU scored a TD to go ahead by one, but fumbled the...

    Re: Caleb Shudak

As noted above, he missed that OU game for mouthing off, but as I recall, he also missed a few games for injury... during his junior year perhaps???
  9. Re: Tom Osborne School of Classless Coaching alive and well

Let's look further into your observation, which involves teams from the SEC and Big Ten. There are two major players as far as sports networks and sports media go. One of those players wholly owns...

Re: It could have been worse

Maybe that's true, but it should be well within reach to at least play fundamentally sound football. ISU isn't very close do doing that, and it has been that way under Rhoads' entire tenure. Nothing...

Re: *** The Official Baylor vs ISU Gameday Thread ***

3rd & 1 is a basic fundamental football play. ISU is not so good at those fundamental things...
  12. Re: 9 game schedule kills B12, media simply too dumb

It's sad. The Big 12's primary TV deal is with ESPN, yet ESPN really does nothing to promote the Big 12 from the football standpoint (especially now that the SEC network has started), and often...

I haven't watched much of Dome, but the show seems to be a carbon copy of Revolution (which my wife forced me to endure until she finally couldn't stand it anymore)...a shaky but possibly intriguing...

Could be. Some of the kids look more "in sync" than others, so I thought the kids might be moving around a little bit.

I was wondering why the water in the stream in #3 looked weird (kind of...
  19. Re: Amazing real color photographs from 1909, by Russian photographer working for Cza

Apparently you've missed the plethora of youtube videos from dash cams from cars in Russia. I didn't see any cars with dash cams in those pictures. Also, I didn't see any computer hackers trying to...
  20. Re: Amazing real color photographs from 1909, by Russian photographer working for Cza

Yup. He was taking three pictures in rapid succession with red, green, and blue filters, and on some of the photos, you can see movement between the three pictures (like the kids in # 26).
