    Re: Belgium/Germany beer trip

Nothing to do with beer but I've now used Uber twice in Europe. Once in Brussels and once in Munich. Both times it's been about 1/4 the price of a cab and the app worked great. Germany is trying to...

    Re: Belgium/Germany beer trip

Only 1 more day to go. I can tell from the crowds that I'm happy i'm not here for Octoberfest. Visited a great beer garden in the English Gardens(Seehaus) and one that was not so great. When I get...

    Re: Belgium/Germany beer trip

Belgium is very interesting for glassware. Pretty much every beer you drink comes in different glassware. The bars are filled with glasses. Germany it's pretty much 1 liter and 1/2 liter glasses....

    Re: Belgium/Germany beer trip

Today visited Dachau and then went to the Augustiner Keller beer garden. Outdoor seating for 5,000+ right in the city. Very awesome.

    Re: Mexico Vacation Advice

Agree with this. Even better, just rent a house on Isla. We went with another couple and ended up paying about the same as an all inclusive plus we had our own pool.

    Re: He has 4 OWI's....

I would never consider Deery just for this reason alone. In addition, John Deery in Cedar Falls completely screwed over a 95 y/o aunt of mine. My parents bought 5 cars in a row from Dan Deery but no...

    Re: Belgium/Germany beer trip

First day in Munich. Thought we'd get Hofbrauhaus out of the way. Had a dunkel and then a dunkel radler. Even though my wife called said I had pussitosus, I like the mix of beer and lemonade in the...

    Re: Belgium/Germany beer trip

Probably going to be pretty boring the rest of the trip when it comes to beers. In Austria today and heading to Munich tomorrow. Spent about 400 miles on the atobahn today and have to say it's a...

    Re: Belgium/Germany beer trip

I was lucky to find a westvleteren 12 at one of the bars without going to the abby. I'm not a big fan of quads but this was pretty good. It's supposed to be the best beer in the world.

    I took some...

One day in Brussels was enough for me. Tomorrow we head to the Germany/Austria border. I plan on breaking some speed records on the a****ahn in our rental car.

    Re: Apple Announcement

I find it funny that people say "Apple waits to get it right". You mean like Siri? Maps, firefwire? etc. My wife will be getting the new Iphone 6+ but I think it's a ripoff. For $850 I could get two...
