Re: Biggest Freshman Impact in 2014

I hope Warren redshirts. I think with Wimberley, Nealy and Standard we are solid at RB and I don't want to waste a year of Warren's eligibility when he could only get about 20-25 carries on the year.

Re: Biggest Freshman Impact in 2014

Besides Lazard and Downing I think Mike Johnson has a good chance to make an impact this year. As for redshirted freshman id go with Brian Mills. I think he could be really good at SLB.

    Re: Future Defensive Leadership

It would be hard to exactly tell who the future leaders will be until the time comes but some promising players are Rogers, Knott and T.J. Mutcherson to name a few.

    Re: Micquell Cotton/ DeWayne Hendrix

It looks pretty obvious that Cotton will commit. Would be really surprised if he didn't.

A great article about Lazard helping recruit Mister.

I'm sure he will get a chance to compete for the spot but I doubt he gets it

Re: Christian Ohrt - OL Cedar Rapids

He is soft. Because of his bad work ethic his strength is terrible for is size. He might have gotten stronger while he has been at Prairie but before that he was way off from being able to play D-1...

Re: Christian Ohrt - OL Cedar Rapids

He left Jefferson high school because they have the worst coaching staff in the state and just broke a two year losing streak.

NFL: Re: Vikings to trade Harvin?

He's not overrated at all and they won't be able to sell him high either. They will probably only get a 2nd pick for him when he's worth way more.

Re: Lazard #1 WR in 2014

Tavarius Bander is a QB going to Iowa Western this year after being commuted to Kansas State. Maybe we can get him to come and play in Ames.
