  1. Re: Question for all fans going into next weekend

The NDSU game was a terrible accident and you broke your leg in several places.

Victory vs. KSU = "Wow, you're healing up much better than the doctors expected." You're still recovering, but well...
  2. Re: Rob Gray: Rhoads calls for heightened "urgency" as KSU looms

“Anytime you’re letting stuff out of your body you’re gong to dehydrate yourself, so that played into it,” he said.

    Stuff??? :pbaffled:

Re: It's not a talent issue.

OK, new strategy: We need Farniok on the field for his leadership but can't afford to risk him going down with another injury. So we line him up in a modified fullback role, stands should-to-shoulder...

    Re: Baylor...I'm scared

SMU looked pretty bad. But so did we, so ...

    Baylor's defense looked pretty good.

Re: Who is our QB next week?

    Sam. It will be Sam.

I'm not saying whether or not it should be, but if you've been paying any attention at all you know it will be.

Also amusing to me is all the people who said, "I don't care...

    Re: WR starters next week

He was double teamed for most of the game. In theory, that's some of the reason why Sam was able to scramble for 7-10 yards underneath a few times.

I'm afraid that's going to happen a lot this...

    Re: NDSU Game Grades

Gotta give linebackers and Wally a big fat "F." Remember, and F is only 60%. You don't think they really performed above that level?

And it's very hard to assess Mangino unless you were in the...

Re: Just how good is NDSU?

I know, I know .... maybe my timing isn't the best .... having the gall to suggest that we may win 1 or 2 games this season. :jimlad:

Re: Just how good is NDSU?

I don't think anyone is really going to know for sure for another 2-4 weeks. I would venture to guess that NDSU is moderately better than most of us thought going in; we are a lot worse than we...

Re: 8/30/2014 Big 12 Games Thread

Hats off the WVU. They played respectably vs. Alabama.

On the other hand, if they can hang with Alabama, how do we stand a chance???
  15. Re: ***OFFICIAL: NDSU @ IOWA STATE GAME(DAY) THREAD!***

Well, it will be interesting to see how "they" will sell hope for this season to be salvaged to any degree. Offense shows glimpses of quality, but goes in fits and starts (at best). Defense largely...

  17. Re: ***OFFICIAL: NDSU @ IOWA STATE GAME(DAY) THREAD!***

Basic stuff -- wrapping up, who to cover, etc.

(great tackle there by a Bison tripping his own guy)
  18. Re: ***OFFICIAL: NDSU @ IOWA STATE GAME(DAY) THREAD!***

    Keep hope alive!!! A tackle!
