I could maaayyybbeee pull something like that together...I'm not completely sure but I'll keep that in mind.

I did...$7,500 to be exact for a year...but, there is an alternative in the works...

    Re: Stat questions?

Similar to Pomeroy's ratings with the Pythagorean theorem? I actually have something along those lines that is somewhat in the works. But, it's a process. I'll see if I can maybe get something put...

    Re: Stat questions?

I agree, unfortunately that is one thing that can't be done due to how stats are compiled. Unless you want to start charting every FBS game every week...maybe...? :spinny:

    Stat questions?

Thanks to everyone for reading (allegedly) in the past week and a half, I was excited to come aboard and have not been let down.

As I tinker with more content for the rest of this week I thought...

Re: enCYCLONEpedia: The macro season preview

    Thanks for reading, y'all.

Regarding the Iowa game....it was made close very late but it never really seemed in doubt. That will happen when the opponent can run at will to get to a 3rd & 1 before...

Re: Blum Preview Column: The season of wait & see

Last season ISU had 64 (tied for 5th most in FBS) three and outs (I define it as 3 or less plays that ends with a punt or turnover) on 177 total possessions. That is 36.15% (11th highest in FBS).

Re: Blum Preview Column: The season of wait & see

Welp...in 2013 vs FBS opponents in the 1st quarter the ISU offense punted or turned it over on 82.5% of possessions (drives that ended in the first period). The FBS average was 58%.

    Re: enCYCLONEpedia: Obvious is obvious

Somewhat true, but not entirely. There are a few stretches of 30-35% of conference games against ranked teams. Though, I always think that a conference schedule strength is often more determined by...

    Re: enCYCLONEpedia: Obvious is obvious

Thanks. But to your point, I think i commented on that with this excerpt:

While a difficult schedule itself doesn’t lead a program to worse results on a guaranteed basis, it is my contention that...

    Re: enCYCLONEpedia: Obvious is obvious

I don't think the schedule was unbeatable at all...it was meant to be less of a commentary on last year's schedule and more of how ISU has traditionally been affected by increasing/decreasing the %...

  20. Re: A look at Iowa State's Ballscreen Defense Problem
