    Re: Philosophical question

What kind of prisoners are they? Like murderers, rapists, child molesters? Or like petty criminals - pickpockets, jaywalkers, people who don't signal when they turn?

Is one of them the assassin...

    Re: Personality Test Part II

    Re: Random thoughts thread

I put horseradish sauce on the toast. Not a lot, just enough to give it some zip - maybe a teaspoon, maybe slightly less. Then add the mayo and spread it all around together with the knife. ...

    Re: Personality test

Only 1 person is responsible for her death. The Assassin. He/She pulled the trigger.
Without knowing any more details than the story gives and without making any assumptions no one else can be...
  6. Re: Friday QOTW 7/25 - What are you doing with your life?

Hurray! The Fairlane made it to Madison and back yesterday. Got passed a couple hundred times, but no real problems. It did seem to idle a bit rough by the time we got back. I'll have to check...

Re: "Use of Company Computer Policy"

Basically, if they like you and you're getting your work done and there's no manager who has it in for you, you're fine.

However, if any of the above are not happening, any use above about 5...

When they first told us the hall was cancelled we were pretty sure they were kidding. They weren't. Yeah, there's some deep seated issues there, I think.

    Re: Random thoughts thread

In my younger days one of my life goals was to always be the second most casually dressed person at gatherings. No one remembers what you wore, only the guy who dressed worse.

    Re: Random thoughts thread

Went to in-law family wedding rehearsal today. Hall was booked months ago. Bride/friends showed up today to decorate and they're all, like, "Hey, no. You called and cancelled. Said you were...
  12. Re: Friday OT - What event do you want to attend?

Can't think of much beyond the most common ones mentioned here. An ISU Final Four and a major bowl game. I'm kind of to the point where I'd rather be with a few close friends than in a crowd of...

None of your damn business, and get off my lawn!

Actually - enjoying owning the '55 for the first summer ever. Took it to a car show last WE 80 miles away and got a meaningless award, but just...

I-74 bridges do suck, but the Savanna IL to Sabula IA bridge would beg to differ.

    Re: Moline for work

No, probably the Government Bridge, which is next up stream from the Centennial. It has walkways on both sides. No pedestrians allowed on I-74 Bridge either span.

    Re: Reel mowers

We had a power reel mower growing up. Like others said, it literally will not cut anything once it gets a bit long. I wouldn't bother based on my life experience.

    Re: Darn Chipmunks

I tried something like this once. Sounded too good to be true. Turns out it was. Didn't work - at least not for me.
