    Re: New Uniforms?

Another question: why do football teams usually wear colored uniforms at home, but basketball teams wear white at home?

EDIT: I Googled it, and here's the interesting history I found...

    Re: New Uniforms?

I have a question that I'm hoping someone "in the know" might be able to answer: why can't teams wear colored (non-white) uniforms on the road?

While you obviously don't want two teams wearing...

Poll: Re: How Long Does It Take You To Go #2?

This poll stinks (no pun intended). Categories shouldn't overlap (if it takes me 10 minutes to poop, do I respond with 3-10 or 10-20?), and that 10-20 category will be broken down a bit more (10-14...

    Re: ANOTHER Airline Crash

That's the death rate per vehicle miles traveled. Motor vehicles only carry a few people and airplanes carry up to several hundred, which is why the deaths per vehicle mile are higher with aircraft....

    Re: ANOTHER Airline Crash

Airplane crashes tend to be pretty brief and unexpected, too (most of them occur during takeoff or landing, rather than a mid-flight incident that would cause a free-fall).

Yeah, 2 flights out of like 1,325,745 each year is a pretty high rate of disappearance.

If they're still buying CDs in the year 2014, I'm guessing close to 100% of them are idiots.

The Twins have also been a pretty poor team since they got their new ballpark (except in 2010).

  19. Re: A look at Iowa State's Ballscreen Defense Problem

Fred does play zone. He doesn't use it as much as a Syracuse or Baylor does, but it's definitely in his arsenal. I remember seeing it a lot when Babb would be on the bench.

    Maybe he'll play it...
