    Re: Emmanuel Malou

I figured it would be like tinsley (juco degree, no hs degree) but I get worried about any slight foreign angle after the Luca deal where a $500 a year player breathed on him. I'm still kind of...

Re: Melvin Ejim is Headed Overseas to Play in Rome

Gypsy had a baby in one arm and stealing my roommate's bus pass with the other, if you stay out late enough you can see the crippled hunchback lady throw off her cloak to reveal a 7 year old...

    Re: Frat vs. Dorms

In my major it was normal to have up to ten projects a semester that maybe took 15-30 hours. I do remember a few kids in Greek system talking about time. Not as bad as the scholarship volleyball...

    Re: Frat vs. Dorms

Always seemed to me like the biggest advantage to Greek system was easy way to get girls, especially with the male/female ratio when I was at ISU. Even at non Greek parties a girl would ask where I...

Studied abroad in Rome through ISU, would love to have a reason to work there even for a few months.

Re: Ejim on Canadian National Team

Yeah knew I was forgetting an obvious one. If they aren't the most represented this year they will be soon with how young they are and future prospects.

Re: Ejim on Canadian National Team

Canada may have the most nba players now of a foreign country. Last year france had 9 and Canada had 8, know Canada added at least wiggins but not sure who else will be cut or make teams.

Re: CVS Pharmacy to open in campustown

Would rather not have it on that corner, but the neighborhood needs more places students can conveniently walk to and get basic things. I'd have really used that both when I lived in the dorms and in...

Re: First Female Official in the Big XII

    Some comments from the article.

    1. Says she went to school at Santa Barbara, not sure where she's from but any official not speaking with a Texas drawl gets a thumbs up from me.

    2. Says...

Re: Paula Deen's new network to launch

How many cable networks do we need devoted to food that makes us fat and sick? It costs everyone a lot of money to live in an obese nation.

Re: Art Briles calls Mark Mangino a "stud"

I seriously think Weis would be my last choice among all D1 coaches. It's not just his coaching, guy is just a puke. What a weird answer, when a standard canned response would be totally...
  16. Re: Yep, it's too early but how about All League hoops this coming year?

This but swap McKay for BDJ. BDJ pushes Foster and ISU pushes KU.

At this point the newcomer award to ISU is about like KU to win the title. I remember a couple years ago a lot of our own fan were...
  17. Re: Florida Jury awards widow $23.6 Billion from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company

I'm a coffee addict…I've bought, made, served, and sold coffee at hundreds of stores and cafes in a dozen countries. McDonalds is the only coffee that comes to mind as being served dangerously hot,...

Re: Bowlsby: Men's Olympic sports in jeopardy

Outside of possibly the women's basketball tournament, CWS is easily the most visible college sports competition on TV and in the media. I happened to be traveling through Tennessee near the...

Re: Commish Bowlsby and What's Next for the "Big 5"

And doom themselves in the process by damaging the quality of their product. But it's not like that isn't a typical pattern of business in general.

In pro sports compare Spain's La Liga to the EPL...
