    Re: What are they building??

Hardees has really made a comeback since a whole bunch closed in the late 90's. I used to think it was "meh" but now it's a treat!

    They also dominate the small-town-with-only-one-fast-food-place...

Re: Your wild plane ride stories, please

You work in the airline industry but have never flown before? That's gotta be a little weird.

    Re: Is this Mold? (basement)

I agree ... however, in my (small) defense, I did have a window well cover over it. The water filled in by leaking from the edges and from the bottom up (ground saturation). However, I didn't realize...
  5. Re: Column: Levi Peters is Iowa State's most interesting man

I'm confused about the article .... it's tagged with today's date (July 5) by refers to May in the future tense. (He "will" trim his beard for a May wedding).

    Re: Is this Mold? (basement)

The "puffy" part did disappear when I sprayed a mist of a clorox/water solution on it. The discoloration (light green and whiteish) remains.

    Is this Mold? (basement)

Like many, I have had water in the basement recently. Twice in about 3 weeks. Not due to seepage, but I live in a townhouse with a basement, and when the ground is saturated and it rains really hard,...

Re: Friday OT - Your Embarrassing Stories

In kindergarten, the classroom was pretty large. The room was half tile and half carpet. At the beginning of the school year, the teacher taught us that if we have to vomit, the bathroom is best,...

    Re: New commit: Seth Nerness.

A guy named Dallas Clark went to Twin River Valley of Bode, which became an 8-man school after he graduated. (He would have been in high school in the late 90's, and the first season in which the...

    Re: New commit: Seth Nerness.

That would be Fremont-Mills, Tabor, in 2011. Ironic you bring that up on a page about Mr. Nerness, as it was his school that got the receiving end of that 81 pt. drubbing (Murray).

    Re: New Commit: Jordan Wallace

I will say this, I looks like the kid can tackle.

Also, this looks like Stan Eggen's first recruit to commit. IIRC, he has some connections in that area??

    Re: Dom DeLira Commits

Good point. If ISU has some modicum of success in the next few years, (say, a 7+ win season two years in a row) he will be worshiped as some kind of offensive god.

    Also, this thread has severely...
