  1. Re: (40 times) Something to think about when watching recruiting

This is ridiculous. Hand timed forties are always 0.2 seconds faster, for reasons of visual timing difference and cheating.

To say that college athletes (working their tails off for four years)...

Re: Tyrann Mathieu no longer a tiger

I find that pretty hard to believe. How would you stay on the team after 6 failed drug tests?

These people think that their 1st place finish in this ranking was chosen by some kind of democratic process. Smh

Re: Well hey, at least we're not fat

I have tons of high school friends and acquaintances that go to both schools, and in terms of being in shape or overweight or whatever, there's really no distinction to be made. People in IC are...

Notice how all the different people they bring in to sit across frim Bayless are African American. I've always wondered why that is

    Re: Herman Edwards

Yeah greenie has that natural side-kick style about him, when sitting next to these HOF players. And he doesn't exactly try to break that stereotype when talking with these guys.

    But I usually...

MLB: Re: Cubs call up Jackson and Vitters

I agree that patience needs to be had with Jackson. And I think they should keep him in the lineup while he's here to get him ABs. But it's naive to think a 30 game sample size is going to tell us...

MLB: Re: Cubs call up Jackson and Vitters

People talk about Jackson's plate discipline, strike zone recognition, patience as a hitter, etc etc... Which is all very true.

But I just think the guy swings way too hard. He needs to realize...
  12. Re: How is your fav NFL team going to do this year?

1st of all, you think more highly of the lions than I do. To me, they are a flashy team that won't ever make the leap. But we'll see

2nd, Stafford is very good. And he's proven that he can never...
  13. Re: How is your fav NFL team going to do this year?

Bears win 11 games and make the playoffs, as a wild card.

Cutler to Marshall isnt as great as advertised, but still good. The rest of the offense, everything pieces together, becomes very solid...

  15. Re: Michael Phelps "probably" is not Greatest Olympian

Ok. But I think I made my point, that swimmers have historically had great medal count success in Olympic careers, phelps is not the first. Although he is the statistically greatest of the bunch.

  16. Re: Michael Phelps "probably" is not Greatest Olympian

Ehh, Natalie coughlin has 12. Spitz has 11-9 golds. Weissmuller has 5. Lochte has 9. Biondi has 11. Torres has 12. To me, some of these are pretty close.
  17. Re: Michael Phelps "probably" is not Greatest Olympian

Right, my point is that the argument always progresses like this:

    1. Phelps is the greatest
    2. But, he's a swimmer. That makes it possible for him to win/attempt to win so many medals.
    3. So why...

    Re: Sash Suspended

But you can't call him a juicer until you know he's been on the juice. Adderrall is a ped by definition, but it is not juice and therefore addy user is not a juicer. So I have to disagree with you...
