Re: Georges Invited to Big Man Skills Academy!

Really glad to see him get chosen for this.....it's a pretty big deal. Hopefully, it will help him with his development and recovery too.
  2. Re: 2014-15 Season: Who Big 12 teams are losing, returning, and adding

With what they have coming back, Texas should be outstanding, and even dominant next year. The problem is, their coach is also coming back. Let's all hope Rick Barnes doesn't suddenly learn how to...

Right at this moment I would say not likely, but definite top 25. Now, depending on how those last 2 scholarships get used..........

    Re: Concern for next year

I like too, how he brings up Danny Manning. How ironic. Danny Manning's father was hired as an assistant under Larry Brown at Kansas for the sole purpose of getting Danny to KU. His father had no...

Re: Adelman Not Returning to Minnesota

I hope Fred never leaves and has learned from KF how to leverage the threat of a pro job, coupled with even minimal success at the college level, into annual increases and contract improvements at...
  6. Re: why don't recruiting services count transfers?

I think a lot of the problem is just that this whole transfer thing has kind of blown up on everyone very quickly.

On average, there are probably only about 1200-1400 "open" scholarships...

Re: New Court Design for Hilton

There was an image once of CY standing with hands on hips, over an outline of the state of Iowa that I always thought would look good on the center of the court.

    Re: Concern for next year

I don't see a major reason to be concerned at this point, since we don't know most of the non-conference schedule yet. Depending on how much Nader misses, and how much he contributes, ISU may have...

Re: Ryan Anderson Visiting May 2nd

You never know. A guy like Anderson may just want to play on a winning team for once in his career, which he has not been close to at BC. He also may be looking to give himself one last chance at...

Re: Ryan Anderson Visiting May 2nd

There is this article announcing his transfer. It may not be clear if he would have to sit out a year or not, because of the coaching change at BC as part of the reason behind his transfer.

Re: Ryan Anderson Visiting May 2nd

Jones, Hogue and Edozie will be gone before Anderson plays. He will have to sit a year and have one year left. Williams will be at ISU the next year though to join Anderson, if he comes here.

Re: The talent on our roster

I agree with that, but that was why I said it would not need to be one of DeAndre's skill level. Maybe there is a solid PG out there who just wants to win and get to the NCAA for the first time in...

Re: The talent on our roster

I could see Custer red-shirting and I think it might help him. He's not a really big guy, and some time in the weight room would do him some good in preparing for Division I and Big 12 basketball. ...

People crushing Bryce Dejean-Jones sound like those who crushed DeAndre Kane last year. My money on @ISUMayor32 getting most out of him.
