    Re: Baylor @ Kansas

ISU did better against our run game. Other than the one long run by Lache Seastrunk we were under 4 per carry by our tailbacks which is all the credit to ISU on that. Unlike the KSU game it wasn't...

    Re: Baylor is unbelievable

With the way teams turned each other in back then (one of the reasons SMU got busted) it's a pretty good mark to not have been hit.I am not saying it's some intentional fabrication. It's simply a...

    Re: Baylor is unbelievable

All of those are on Bliss and his staff, not the university at large. How is that a history of outside influence? It's one corrupt coach that was hired and retained by an inept former AD who's last...

Re: I hope Baylor wins the Natl Championship

That is a baseless accusation. Where has BU cheated? By using a mean poster in hoops? By mislogging texts? (Just like Hoiberg)

    Get real.

Tell yourself that if you want, doesn't make your comment any less full of it. Name ONE questionable recruit... go!

Re: I hope Baylor wins the Natl Championship

Baylor is ahead in both human polls and the computers will get better for us once teams like OU, Tech, OSU, etc get averaged in. Computers only look at who you HAVE played, not the overall schedule....

    Re: Baylor is unbelievable

Basketball took 5 years to turn around without one single questionable recruit prior to going to an elite 8.
Football took 3 years to simply get to being a .500 team and was sped along by a Heisman...
  8. Re: Is ISU better off going to a Pro-style offense?

If your TE's and FB's aren't multi-dimensional you will be one dimensional as the defense will only have to account for 3 players in the passing game on a consistent basis. Schools like Stanford,...
  9. Re: Is ISU better off going to a Pro-style offense?

For that pro style offense to have a prayer of keeping up in the Big 12 scorefests you NEED a versatile TE. It's just the way it is. You trot a reject OL out there and see how fast you keep up.

Re: A question to any Baylor fans checking in on us

1- We DID NOT just start off getting 4* and 5* players. It took time and a clear turnaround in the program before that started happening and it took reaching the Elite 8 for it to pick up. False...

Re: A question to any Baylor fans checking in on us

The original post was not my own but two things:

A- According to Scout we landed ONE 4 star in 2008 and ONE four star in 2009. Hardly "having mostly 4* recruiting classes". After that you have...

Re: A question to any Baylor fans checking in on us

You are a sad silly little man if you think that a 2 year investigation means nothing. Fact is they gave us as aggressive of a look as anyone gets and the worst they found is a text issue that even...
  13. Re: Is ISU better off going to a Pro-style offense?

1- Recruiting elite OL is difficult, at least recruiting them in a scheme that demands them to win the game for you will be more difficult than what ISU is doing now. Right now ISU gets the benefit...
  14. Re: Is ISU better off going to a Pro-style offense?

Right now Bundrage, West, Ecby, etc. are better than your OL. You have two good receiving TE's who are not dominant blockers but can be effective.

I am not talking about what you can get "a lot...
  15. Re: Is ISU better off going to a Pro-style offense?

1- It's not just banged up. It's the fact that so many are young or are seniors with limited upside as well. Also OSU has a very good QB (who IIRC is healthy), a dynamite freak of a WR who has...
  16. Re: Is ISU better off going to a Pro-style offense?

To an extent I agree, and to an extent I don't. Baylor was daring ISU to pass by playing aggressively against the run so "open space" would not be available. I think having 3-4 guys that can take...
  17. Re: Is ISU better off going to a Pro-style offense?

Good luck with than unless you think you can recruit dominant OL and blocking TE's.
  18. Re: Is ISU better off going to a Pro-style offense?

Honestly I don't think ISU needs a philosophy change on offense. Maybe a better set of assistants but I don't think the macro-level philosophy is flawed.

Look at Baylor 2009. We had a middling...

Re: A question to any Baylor fans checking in on us

You have the false assumption that BU landed recruits right off the bat. It took FIVE years of building the program to get the first contested hot prospect. I can go recruit by recruit if you want...

Re: A question to any Baylor fans checking in on us

The NCAA spent two years giving all our programs a colonoscopy-and only found mislogged texts. (that aren't even a violation now)

SAME as Hoiberg just got dinged for.
