Re: Minnesota State players refusing to Practice

I'd sick Dobber on them. That would straighten them out.
  2. Re: Offensive 3 deep looking VERY good...QB is the only real question mark.

I think that the OL will be just fine. Farniok is proven. Dagel and Gannon are solid B12 Tackles. Lalk stepped in and did a good job when Farniok went down. Burton and Omoile struggled some last...

    Re: Cyclone 2014 class

Obviously, Lazard is the headliner. He's going to play. Downing will start right away. I expect all of the JUCOs to be right in the two deep or competing for it. Other than that, I'm guessing all...

    Re: Concern for next year

They played with Hogue at PF when Ejim was out and again vs UNC in the tourney. Lack of size isn't going to hurt us in many noncon games. If they pick up a couple of losses, that's not the end of...

    Re: Lazard

I think that it would be dumb to redshirt him. If a player is good enough to play, you play him. We all lamented how it was a waste to play David Irving as a TRFR and look where that got us. You...

Re: Game of Thrones Season 4

I guess my favorites are Tyrion, Arya and Brienne, but I do really like Jaime, Bronn and the Dog.

    Re: Strength and Cond...

I think that the whole "thinner, more athletic OL" strategy backfired on them. Sure, it's nice to have OTs that can move with long arms and the ability to stay in front of someone. But at some...

Re: Paul Rhoads on Jake Campos...

I was actually thinking that when he signed. Look at the positions:

OG: They bring back Lalk and Burton, who both started a bunch of games. Neither was probably ready, but they gained a lot of...

Re: Monday Musings: A new era in QB management?

I haven't seen a minute of practice, but I'd be surprised if it wasn't Richardson starting. He is about as close to Reesing as it gets. He is nimble in the pocket, can run and is accurate. Maybe...

    Re: Best Pizza in Iowa?

To each his own I guess. I think that Great Plains is the best in the state. Maybe Giordonos is better.

    Re: Bubu

We all know that he did SOMETHING wrong. It's just whether it was proven in court. Obviously it wasn't, but student conduct code is different than law. I'll just be happy when it's over. The...

    Re: The Winter Soldier

I am going tonight. I thought that the first Cap movie was OK. Definitely not as good as the first Iron Man and also below the first Thor.

As for SW, I'm expecting disappointment. When they...

    Re: Future of Tailgating

IF they could put it on a trailer that dollys down, I could see selling them. Not as sure about universities renting.

    Re: Starting qb...

One thing that I always noticed about Mangino's offense at KU, their WRs all blocked really well. They'd run WR screens and get 6 yards a pop because their blockers would seal off the DBs every time.

Re: Trey Scott Reporting New Offer Given

I'd hate to see what some of you guys say about someone as "dumb" as me to pay for BOTH Rivals and Scout. How could I possibly waste $140 a year like that?? Think of all the things that I could do...

    Re: Starting qb...

I don't think that Boyle was ever that high on the list. To me, the QBs that ISU is recruiting hardest are:

Burrow - 26 (only QB offer so far)
    Willis - 37
    Schlichte - 44

    They can afford to...

    Re: Starting qb...

I think that it depends on what kind of offense they actually run. If MM is running his KU offense, I can't think of a better comparison to Reesing than Sam Richardson. He has the Reesing skill...

Re: Spring Football: WR's continue to show potential

I think that this group has the potential to be really good. Obviously, Bundrage has to be more consistent catching the ball, but he has a good skill set. You put someone opposite him that is...
