Re: Dowling Catholic's Ryan Boyle commits to the Hawks

Th Big XII did not outperform the Big 10 last year in bowl games last year? Huh? Where do you come up with your info? From all of your hawk friends? The Big XII killed the Big 10 in their one...

    Re: Randy Peterson is right

I agree, I went into last year thinking we would be very lucky getting back to a bowl. CPR was not his normal optimistic self during the summer. He was trying to explain to everyone that it was...

    Re: Randy Peterson is right

Section 110, maybe I am reading your post wrong but how are you coming up with 5 returning starters on offense? The only starter we lost was Coleman at WR and we return 4 guys with multiple starts...

I like the one of Naz. He looks like a "Dark Angel".

    ISU BBQ team in KC

Sorry if this has been discussed already. I finally had a chance to watch the Baylor game last night. I saw just the last 10 minutes of it while on spring break. Midway through the 1st half...

Wow, I highly recommend clicking on the link with Ma'Kayle's graduation speech. Impressive young man. He is now in contention with Levi Peters as my favorite walk-on.

If I had to work for one of them I would rank them:
    1. Parker
    2. Dakota Fred
    3. Todd

If I could hire just one of them to work for me I would hire Dave Turin-sp. Good skills, hard worker and...

    Re: Walk-on safeties

I was wrong. Caspers played for North Dakota State College of Science who I believe is in the same conference as IWCC and Ellsworth. RCTC plays a bunch of school I have never heard of.

    Re: Walk-on safeties

Thanks, I had not seen that thread. Sounds like they do not play much of a schedule. I thought we signed a Juco lineman (Caspers?) who played in their conference 4-5 years ago.

    Re: Walk-on safeties

Does RCTC ever put out many D1 players. I don't remember us looking at any recruits from there in the past but I believe we have taken a few players from their conference. I just thought 20...

    Walk-on safeties

I was looking through the updated roster and noticed a couple of walk-on safeties with interesting bios. With the lack of experience we have at safety maybe one of these guys will emerge this...

    Re: Official 2014 Recruiting thread

Back in 2011-2102 Scout had him as a 4 star DE and rivals as a high 3 star DE at 5.7. I believe his current weight is about 285 lbs versus the 245 lbs he was in high school. Does anyone know if he...

    Re: Comparison: Twolves vs Cyclones

Um, one preseason poll had us 10th. Barring some sort of implosion we will finish somewhere between 2nd and 5th. The OP might want to compare our remaining schedule with those ahead of us. 5-2 the...

Re: In state recruiting for 2015 class

I have heard the Paulsen's are Hawk fans. I thought Boyle looked outstanding in the state championship game against a pretty good defense. His passing looked much more polished than Lanning's did...

Looks like most of the recruits he has pulled in over the last 7-8 years were Eastern TX and Louisiana. Looks like a nice addition to the staff.

Good news. Normally the Bio's on Cyclones.com have measurables listed that are slightly different than the recruiting sites. I think ISU must weigh and measure these kids during their visits. ...
