    Re: ***Official Spring Game Thread***

Did Knott play any today or is he still rehabbing?

I haven't been on the FB boards much since January, but I get the impression he's a guy that has somewhat been forgotten about based on his...

Re: Irving Pic Holding Stop Sign At Riot

1st time in CPR's tenure where I have basement bottom expectations for the year. Looks like we picked a good year to have a baby, so I can miss a few home games and probably not really miss anything.

Re: RECRUITING: Two possible spring targets

Are there any really solid freshmen transfers out there this year? I would love to see Fred pull in a guy who can play for 3 years. Essentially that's as good as a 4 year guy, and you already know...

Re: RECRUITING: Two possible spring targets

Does anyone have any rough idea how many players Fred recruited out of high school, who went somewhere else, then decided to transfer and Fred was back in the mix to try and get them into ISU.

Re: ESPN 2014-2015 Preseason Top 25

I for one am looking forward to the annual "Paul Rhoads smashes Kansas into a stupid quivering blue powder" festival this fall.

Hilton coliseum farts in the general direction of where ever the hell Baylor and Tech play.
  7. Re: Podcast: Hoiberg, spring game, offseason & more

Depending on which building I'm working at determines just how much podcasting I can listen to at work. When I got an hour of uninterrupted work these are mana from heaven. Especially the...

    Re: Hoiberg on KXNO

1996 email chain? Wow. I recall a youtube video from the today show from like 94/95 and they were discussing the internet, and nobody on the show had ANY idea what it was. In hindsight you figure...

    Re: NCAA Final Rankings

For a while HN and the scout forum were littered with ISU threads. The difference was they had to admire ISU instead of poking fun like Fran and co gets here.

    Re: NCAA Final Rankings

Of that list there were only 11 (?) teams who had more victories than ISU this year. That's a pretty good season...

    Re: Percy Gibson transferring

Would like to see ISU get an immediate transfer, a promising transfer with 2 or 3 years left to play and just bank the 3rd schollie for a HS kid next year.
  12. Re: UConn Wins. Subtext: ISU 2014 was a championship team with Niang

    Agreed.
SMU pulled an Iowa from last year and had a cupcake NON-CON schedule. Too little to late I guess. Can't pad those early games so much.

    Re: Best Pizza in Iowa?

My dad owned a bar when I was a kid, and Pisquales (sp?) frozen pizza did it for me. They were made in Humboldt and have a restaurant up there. Unsure if they are all that good, or just a staple...
  14. Re: CFTV: Mark Mangino recaps Saturday's scrimmage

KU's offense typically had solid WR blocking in their heyday with Mangino...I like how he mentioned that if you can't block as a WR, you won't play.
  15. Re: UConn Wins. Subtext: ISU 2014 was a championship team with Niang

    Agreed.
Niang could have had a terrible night shooting as well...offsetting Houge's great night. No idea how it goes down.

I do know that UCONN's defensive prowess did a good job of de-railing...
  16. Re: UConn Wins. Subtext: ISU 2014 was a championship team with Niang

What really sucked about the Kentucky game was that ISU had their WORST 3 point shooting game of the year. Same wide open looks as any other game, just there was a lid on the rim that night.
  17. Re: UConn Wins. Subtext: ISU 2014 was a championship team with Niang

The disappointment of Ninag's injury is really overshadowed in my mind by what a great season it was with the unexpected and crazy highs all year long. I'm less bothered by Niang's foot than I was...

    Re: Bryce Dejean-Jones

What i like about him is that he's accustomed to coming off the bench and sharing minutes. ISU thrives with team players who know their roles. Doesn't hurt that there's plenty of shots for...

    Re: Bryce Dejean-Jones

Watching his UNLV 2014 mix and he is a serious player. Can get to the hole, but far more slippery/smooth then Kane. This kid can jump out of the gym...he elevates incredibly well.

    I am shocked...

Re: Hogue named to all-East region team

Snooping around the inter-webs and some old NIU stories, it seems to me that Nader is more of a shooting 2 or 3. I don't foresee him running much or any point...but that's just my interpretation. ...
