    Re: McKay can play

McKay is certainly capable of helping the team, if he plays well. The way he was playing against West Virginia, wasn't helping. I just hope he comes back and plays to his potential.

Re: Impression of Coach Prohm thus far?

I like him. I think anyone coaching college men's basketball has big challenges. What is plaguing Prohm this year could very easily be the reason Hoiberg is in the NBA however I doubt it is much...

    Re: ***ISU @ KU***

Congratulations to the girls, it is good to get the win. I was beginning to have my doubts in the first half. It would have really hurt to lose that one.
  4. Re: The best line up is MM, MT, GN, then Burton and Nader

McKay has shown he can play well, but there is something wrong this year. Earlier in the season he was looking pretty good, but lately, (I haven't seen the A&M) game yet, he hasn't played well. ...
  5. Re: Twister Sister Summary - ladies fall again as offense stumbles

I don't think someone should conclude someone else is butt hurt, without being able to examine that portion of the anatomy. I am saying it is something a doctor should diagnose or perhaps you are...
  6. Re: Twister Sister Summary - ladies fall again as offense stumbles

I should add that I thought last night we lost because they guarded the three point line well, and we didn't have enough other options to offensively. Also our overall defense both inside and out...
  7. Re: Twister Sister Summary - ladies fall again as offense stumbles

I thought when I saw the roster and the talent that we had this year that we should move away from shooting three pointers and go more to an inside scoring attack with Burkhall, Fernstrom, Johnson,...

Re: Nader was amazing in the KU game.

Didn't he hit a far out three to win a game? Like Cincinnati or Iowa, when it went off his hands I never thought it would go in, and it did. He probably missed one and they lost a game. One...

Re: Nader was amazing in the KU game.

I personally, am happy for both players, Thomas and Nader. I saw that Thomas already had a thread, Nader needed a thread, and effusive thanks for great play. I also appreciate everything Thomas...

Re: Nader was amazing in the KU game.

Obviously, I don't like whipping too much. I really didn't understand McKay's poor first half until I found out he was injured. I think he just needs to get better, (over the injury). Looking...

Re: Nader was amazing in the KU game.

I do agree that he played well in the Oklahoma game. Burton really played great in that second half of the Kansas game. We needed him since McKay was hurting. McKay wasn't himself at all in the...

Nader was amazing in the KU game.

I thought Nader deserved a thread after the KU game. He played amazing defense, hit key shots, made important rebounds, and didn't get much press. His second half was also about the same as the...
  13. Re: Twister Sister Summary - ladies fall to Baylor

I will not forget, and sorry, but I do not lay blame here, because I don't know. I think to throw all the burden of what has happened on some player's alleged personality defect is wrong. It is...
  14. Re: Twister Sister Summary - ladies fall to Baylor

I agree, whether you like her or not, she wins basketball games.

Re: WBB: ISU vs. Baylor at 12:30 on FS1

I agree that it was probably unintentional, but nonetheless dangerous. I think the refs did right, in warning the player.

Re: WBB: ISU vs. Baylor at 12:30 on FS1

I disagree, undercutting a player going up for a rebound is dangerous. Considering the girl made no effort to get the rebound, only undercut Seanna, I would say it was a dirty play. Things happen...

I liked the first two dribbles, after that you should have taken your own advice.

    Re: WBB question.

I think Jadda Buckley is fine, and will have her ups and downs like any player. They need to set up lots of plays to get players an opening to break to the rim. But Jadda, her ability and...

    Re: WBB: Fernstrom leaving ISU

I will clarify it for you. When have we had a post player that actually improved dramatically on their offensive post moves? I do agree that they develop decent post defense here at ISU but for...
