Re: MCKAY OUT (for Texas Tech)

Morris and Burton have been know to follow the player they are defending to the basket.
  3. Re: Women's Volleyball Intramural Hoops Team :)

I know Ike Harris was on that team too. Back before freshman were eligible, they played the freshman team in Hilton before the varsity game.

    Re: Final 2015 ranking

It didn't affect those to much because they made the Final Four. We were losing too many games to lower level teams too keep us from getting any higher.

    Re: Holly Rowe

My wife complains that someone should help her dress:swoon: but we both agree she is as good as they comes in regards to sideline reporting. We both wish Holly the best and are praying for her.

    Re: ***ISU @ KU***

Might not be a bad thing not making either tourney once. Give BF a chance to re-evaluate how his program is doing and what he might need to change.
  7. Re: Twister Sister Summary - ladies fall again as offense stumbles

As I recall, the discussion was about depth at PG. I'd take that. Plain and simple, I think Moody saw her as a threat, and that led to why she left.

    Re: Blaire Thomas

    Good for her.
  9. Re: Twister Sister Summary - ladies fall again as offense stumbles

It remains to be seen about Bell, but Bingley is only starting and averaging 29 minutes a game for the 14th-ranked team in the country.

Re: Emily Durr deserves her own thread

I agree. Kid always seemed better as the first off the bench. That seems to be when she provides that spark to get the others going.
  11. Re: Twister Sister Summary - ladies fall again as offense stumbles

Each of the last four recruiting classes since Moody's has included a PG:

Emiah Bingley - transferred at the end of her first semester, thanks in large part to Ms. Moody.
    Jadda Buckley - Playing,...

    Re: ***TCU vs ISU***

I know we are young and I know there are injuries then a total surprise defection. BF has dealt with these types of thing before but usually keeps a competitive team on the court. He usually has...

    Re: WBB: Former Big12 Teams

Pingeton's recruiting coup starts with her two nieces. Her sister Lisa's girls stayed home as their Dad is Robin's assistant coach. Two other sisters they played with at Columbia Rock Bridge are...

Re: WBB: ISU vs. Baylor at 12:30 on FS1

Good to see Seanna back out there. Losing both Bry and here for the season might have been too much. That said, BF needs to get them to create, recognize shots, and take them. Jadda is a mystery...

Re: WBB: ISU vs. Baylor at 12:30 on FS1

Good ol' dirty Baylor. Takes out Seanna. We lose her for the season, we probably lose the season.

Guess Kimmie wasn't wining the game by enough.

Re: Part of Lon's Strategy for a Win at Hilton

That makes up for the front end of the 1 and 1 he missed that would have won the game against KU in regulation. He was worthless in the 1st OT as his confidence was so shaken he didn't want the ball.

    Re: ***ISU @ Texas Tech***

I agree Kidd always seemed to supply energy coming off the bench. I've said it before, it's not who starts, but who finishes that counts.

    Re: WBB question.

Here's an old article from the Ames Tribune from when she was finishing high school. I could not find where it mentions she was a point guard, but ironically, it does mention Lyndsey working with...

    Re: WBB question.

She was a PG in high school. In fact, she made regular trips to Ames to be tutored on the position by one Lyndsey Medders Fennelly
