    Re: Home mortgage advice

Can you set this up as two notes? One would be a 5 year fixed while she is working - put something like $50,000 on this note. Then refi the remaining $187,000 now with low rates on a 30 year fixed....

Re: Razors: DSC vs. Harry's vs. other

I used to think the cheapest blades were the way to go, but I could only use them a couple times. The fusion blades are really nice and comfortable, and I have had really good luck with them lasting...

Re: Razors: DSC vs. Harry's vs. other

Wait, you use those blades 2-3 times then change them out?

I use my Fusion blades for 3-6 months before changing them out, probably use them 3-4 times/week.

Completely agree. This is a great site and it has a lot to offer - you guys do an excellent job running everything and I am really glad CF is here.

Re: Fawcasts: To Listen or Not to Listen

I don't like the FAWcast either, I haven't listened to one for a long, long time.

I don't think the OP was disrespectful at all, and he was giving honest feedback - any business should like that...

Re: Prohm: McKay's suspension remains indefinite

You guys are probably right. For most people, it would hurt more to watch their team struggle without them. For an ego-driven, selfish person like Jameel, the opposite would be true.

Re: Prohm: McKay's suspension remains indefinite

I don't want this to happen but the ultimate lesson for him would be to lose a close game while he sits out for this.

    Re: The Future of Football

I hope that if nothing else, these players learn to shorten their careers in the NFL. That obviously won't help all the problems (see Tyler Sash) but hopefully it can help give these guys a high...

I am not sure what type of stock we can put into this because as players get older the % of them on the team will naturally go down.

    Re: Mortgage question

Yeah I know what you are saying.

I just think making a blanket statement of "first time home buyers can't afford a $200,000 house" is stupid. Maybe they can afford that house more easily than a...

    Re: Mortgage question

I agree with you on your first point. However, a $200,000 house may be well within the means of a first time home buyer. A young couple with good degrees could easily make $150,000+ in the right...
