Re: Montgomery and Thomas are gone

It won't work at ISU. We have enough disadvantages without adding one of our own. Our policy, and the ones for most of our peer schools, I believe have always been:

    1st failed test - 1 game...

They don't allow sex either. Add those three up, and its a recipe for suicide for any person I know age 18-23. May as well join the Taliban.

In all seriousness - there is one huge difference...

Re: Montgomery and Thomas are gone

I think it is funny that anyone would pine for CPR's family atmosphere. Just a couple years ago, we had a mass exodus of instate DL players who couldn't get along with the staff or other players,...

They aren't stupid. No P5 FB program would ever have a no tolerance policy for failed marijuana tests in 2016. That would be suicide.

    Re: Book recommendations?

You are correct sir, I loved that one! One thing to add to this recommendation - these are pretty quick reads as far as fantasies go, around 300 pages or so. Fast paced and fun, very different and...

    Re: Book recommendations?

I loved the River of Doubt. Rondon should win the award for Badass of the Century, and Roosevelt has to be at least honorable mention.
  8. Re: A break down of Iowa state recruiting class from sport treatise

That was very detailed. Does he do this for all the Big 12 teams?

He was very high on Cliff Fernandez and most of the DBs, that was nice to hear. On the flip side, he wasn't too excited about...

Awesome, I'd recommend reading all 5 that are out now. Great series. I'm looking forward to the next one.

    Re: The Expanse on SyFy

Just a heads up for your reading... just in case you aren't wanting to read ahead. From my memory, the first season covered about 2/3 of the first book.

Awesome. There is also an NFL player who was arguing like that about how there was no such thing as dinosaurs. He'd never seen one.

    Re: OT: Oscar nominations

Yes, again, those were actual stunts. The movie had very little CGI, especially for an action move at that scale. Your complaints about CGI are misplaced.

I am sad your education as an analytic...
