    Re: Xbox One Reveal

Thats the thing. Either way its going to play games. I mean ultimately i know i'll end up with an xbox one just because i know i'll want to play halo 5 whenever it releases. The long term expensive...

    Re: Xbox One Reveal

Part of that is there's never been a major hardware player really get behind cablecard, so cable companies havent really had to support it. They finally do a decent job supporting tivos. A brand as...

    Re: Xbox One Reveal

I have a feeling they'll get the compatibility down well enough, thats not hard.

However, i in no way believe the delay will be as instant as they demo'd. An IR blaster is going to introduce...

    Re: Xbox One Reveal

Its not hard to have a wide range of IR compatibility though, its basically a universal remote.

    Re: Xbox One Reveal

From the I/R out port on it im guessing itll have an IR blaster to control the device. Hopefully MS is broad in their compatibility.

    Re: Xbox One Reveal

I assume thats what the HDMI in is for, but youd have to have some compatibility to control whatever device is selected. Its been done before (some tivos used to have an IR blaster for it) but i dont...

Re: Coaches Who Won't Survive 2013???

We all know he's actually quite safe.

But is BR's logic unsound? At a ton of other schools, 4 years in a row with losing records would get you canned.

Even here at ISU, a bad season this year...

Re: 5.20 Weather - metro tornado warning

I dont think directv is held to the requirement cablecards are to display EAS messages.

But yes, it'll rip you out of things, and can ruin your recordings by tuning away from something youre...

Re: 5.20 Weather - metro tornado warning

All cable boxes that have cablecards do it i believe.

Damn annoying, the alert isnt a bad idea, but it sucks that you cant exit it and switch to a channel that might be covering it (at least on...

    Re: Oklahoma Tornadoes

I know we're not oklahoma, but i seem to remember it being the same thing for us, hallways or bathrooms to take shelter in. Expensive to build an enclosed safe room for that many people.

There's a reason all of the new kum and gos, caseys, and hyvee gas stations are much bigger than the old ones. A good amount of money to be made by those stores.

He was also the most iconic character from the first set of movies, and it makes sense to revisit him in the new timeline.
