    World Map:: Favorite Sports

    I've seen this before, but ran into it again. Many surprises on here for me, but I wouldn't have guessed cricket for Australia.

    Something tells me that map is about as scientific as this:

    Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice?
    Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.

    Baseball in Nevada? I figured gambling and showgirls would be their favorite sport.

    I love the demarcation line between Papau and West Papau New Guinea.

    I imagine whole families being torn apart when the child of a soccer family declares his/her love of rugby, and they're forced to become orphans, and move to the eastern part of the island to live in shabby rugby ghettos, full of other kids ripped away from their families.

    It is a national travesty for the Chinese if they don't take home the gold in table tennis. I have played against some Chinese players with horrible results and I consider myself a good player.

    Yeah, well, I love the demarcation line between Missouri and Kansas (because every other nation on this map was further divided into states and provinces).

    No wonder the rest of the nation views Missouri and Kansas as such idiots - fighting wars over baseball and basketball while the rest of the nation prefers football...

    Re: World Map:: Favorite Sports

    Surfing and rugby are also big in Australia. Too bad they focus on only one sport.
