Dang someone beat me to posting Walt's obit. I looked all over Albuquerque today, and all 17 places I went were sold out of the ABQ Journal. Luckily, my mommy picked up an extra copy for me. That's awesome that the Journal put that in the newspaper!
Thought this was pretty awesome:
(the video page on vimeo itself gives this explanation:Quote:
When Stephen Colbert talked to Vince Gilligan about the song El Paso used in the season finale of Breaking Bad, he asked if Felina was Jesse or the blue meth, and Vince basically said Felina was the blue meth.. Viewed that way, the song El Paso matches up with not only the scene it was used in and the season finale, but the entire series. So I put the rest of it before and after the actual scene from the finale.
We just started watching this last week...my god, we can't buy the seasons fast enough. I am really not a big fan of series, just because they take so much time/effort to get into and follow. This little piece of heaven, however, is fantastic.
This is pretty well done. Spoilers in here
Just started watching on New Year's Eve and by last night had finished the 1st season (7 episodes) and 5 episodes of the 2nd season.
when will Netflix have the second half of the last season up?
I started watching these last week on my free trial of Netflix. I'm midway through season three already. Makes me feel a lot like Dexter did. Just an odd feeling.
I'll definitely be snagging the full series on Blu-Ray before long. This is one of the best TV shows of all time, and I'm not going to keep relying on a sound wifi connection to watch it.
For those that haven't seen the entire thing there is no better television then the last half season. Each episode was better than the last. Amazing.
I jumped on this wagon, streamed season 1, bought 2-5 on Blu Ray from Amazon post Thanksgiving $12. Just bought final season, half way through, we have gotten through this in less than a month, watched a lot when we were off for vacation over christmas.... The 'Better Call Saul' spin-off sounds funny to me too.....
One thing I also did is recorded the last three seasons from DirecTV. A couple things that are nice about watching on Netflix is that you have no preview of the last episodes at the beginning. No commercials to FF through. Lastly, nudity...
Speaking of stateofmind's post. Anyone else notice that they made the pilot episode almsot a full hour. They added in a bunch of deleted scenes, and yes nudity as well. If you haven't seen it check it out.
