The 11:00 tip today may be beneficial here. With the early tip time today along with a late tip Monday, Kane has extra time to get ice on it and see how it feels. I know it's only a few hours, but it gives him a chance to get the swelling down today rather than having to start that process tomorrow.
Before he made his way to the team bus on crutches and with his ankle and foot wrapped, Kane said, "I should be okay by Monday … It's hurting really bad. It's throbbing. It will probably swell up on the plane ride back home. I want to play [Monday] and will do whatever I can to get back on the court with brothers."
