These power ratings are interesting, but with the Big 12 balanced schedule eventually they're totally meaningless because no human opinion could ever be more meaningful than the pure Big 12 tourney seedings.
Right now they still have some purpose to talk about. Look at WVU's schedule, on just record and current standings it looks like they could jump up into the top half...then you see that they're looking at a loaded back end with a 1-4 or 0-5 possibility, they're locked into 7th or 8th place.
These are exactly the same as current standings, so really not going on a limb. If we win out, baylor holds court at home against kstate and kansas and osu only loses to us (beats ksu) would have a 4 way tie for first. Any of those things are plausable though, all 3 of them happening would be the biggest reverse nut punch in cyclone history. Have to think we are due for some luck right ;). Bottom line from here on out baylor should be our second favorite team.
