I don't know if Morey has a secret plan the entire time or he just does random wheeling and dealings and ends up a winner.

    On the march for 72-10

    Indiana (7-0)
    San Antonio (5-1)
    OKC (4-1)
    Minnesota (4-2)
    Phoenix (4-2)

    On the march to 9-73
    Utah (0-7)
    Sacramento (1-5)
    Denver (1-4)
    Brooklyn (2-4)

The Pacers are looking really good. Paul George has turned into a superstar and that team defense is impressive. On the other end, the Jazz look terrible. They desperately need Trey Burke back.

Everyone else has at least 1-3 losses

    On the march for 72-10

    Indiana (9-1)
    San Antonio (9-1)
    Portland (7-2)
    Miami (7-3)
    LA Clippers (7-3)

    On the march to 9-73
    Utah (1-10)
    Milwaukee (2-7)
    Washington (2-7)
    Sacramento (2-6)

The Pacers suffered their first loss and the Jazz got their first win. The top teams are beginning to emerge like most everyone expected (OKC, Miami, San Antonio, etc). The teams we though would tank (76ers, Suns, Celtics, Lakers, Magic) have not gone into free fall mode yet. However, the worst team in the NBA might be the Jazz's to lose.

I try to take full advantage of DirecTV's free week when the season starts.

Watched a lot of Clippers and they are great on the break with Chris Paul dealing. I'd still be suspicious of their playoff chances but maybe that's where having Doc will pay off.

On the march for 72-10. AT this point in the season, The Bulls were 10-1.

    Indiana (12-1)
    San Antonio (12-1)
    Portland (12-2)
    Miami (10-3)
    OKC (8-3)

On the march to 9-73. At this point in the season, the 76ers were 1-20
    Utah (1-13)
    Milwaukee (2-10)
    Brooklyn (3-9)
    New York (3-9)

A major surprise team currently are the Portland Trailblazers who are on a 10 game winning streak. That winning streak ties with the Spurs for the longest winning streak this season (Spurs are currently on a 10 game winning streak as well).

The Jazz are still god awful, but the return of Trey Burke might help the offensive flow of that team. They are one of the lowest scoring teams on the NBA at 89.6 points a night. That ties them with Charlotte and puts them just above Milwaukee who scores only 89.4 points a game. Speaking of Milwaukee, this team will be picking a high lotto pick. They are terrible.

Brooklyn and New York are playing really bad basketball and there really is not much they can do about it. Both teams are over the cap or really close to breaching it. They both have traded away multiple draft picks in future drafts. These two teams are going to be mediocre or bad for the next 2-3 years. NYK are probably in the worst position because they do not have a first round draft pick until 2018!

On the march for 72-10. AT this point in the season, The Bulls were 13-2.

Indiana (16-1) Riding a 7 game winning streak
    Portland (14-3)
    San Antonio (14-3)
Miami (14-3) 10 game winning streak
OKC (12-3) 7 game wining streak

On the march to 9-73. At this point in the season, the 76ers were 2-24
    Utah (3-15)
Milwaukee (3-13) Currently 1-9 in their last 10 games
New York (3-13) On a 9 game losing streak
    Sacramento (4-11)
    Brooklyn (5-12)

Indiana looks really good right now. The East after Atlanta, Miami, and maybe Chicago is REALLY WEAK. The Pacers can pile up some wins this year.

On the other side, the Knicks are making the Nuggets very happy. This is because the Knicks' first round draft pick, which is currently slotted as a Top 5 pick goes to Denver this year.

Also, just to show the major difference between two franchises:

The Indiana Pacers spend 70 million dollars and are 16-1.
The New York Knicks spend 86 million dollars and are 3-13

The Pacers will spend 65 million dollars next year while the Knicks will spend 91 million dollars.

Portland knocks off Indiana tonight. Indy has a killer 3 game stretch coming up @ SA @ OKC and home vs Miami.
