NDSU gets the first score of the game and the whole Biso Nation collectively soils itself with excitement. Clones defense struggles a bit, but offense more than makes up for it. Sam spreads the ball around to several different receivers and produces some quick scores. NDSU hangs in there through the mid-3rd quarter but then the good guys pull away.

What is tough to understand? Because of a hawk fan with severe little brother syndrome asked for the discussion.
FWIW, tickets sold does not always mean attendance.

Offense looks like it is playing its first game under a new offensive coordinator and will struggle.
Don't think NDSU offense will put up many points either.

Posts like our D dominating our offense in scrimmages, either means our Defense is gonna be much much better than advertised or the guys still don't know the offensive playbook that well yet.

Because a hawk fan made a snide comment and some people just can't ignore that so it turned into an argument.

24-20. IMO people are expecting too much out of our offense with the style of play that lakes and company executes. We won't get the ball enough for a high scoring game, think KSU games the last three years. I still think we move the ball well and the offense is much improved though.

NDSU gets a field goal to close the first half of a neck and neck game and take a 3 point lead into the locker room. ISU comes out on fire and takes a 28-17 lead with 6 minutes left in the 3rd quarter, and never really looks back from there. ISU takes a 35-24 lead in the first minute of the 4th quarter, and from there they slow it down. ISU gets a FG on their last possession of the game to take a 38-24 lead NDSU gets a TD in the final minute against ISU's second team D. ISU wins it 38-31.
