Awesome, always great to go into the heart of KC and pull a recruit away from Mizzou, K State and KU!

Spears must be a pretty underrated recruit. Only two stars but offered by ISU, Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri and the greatest program ever according to Lakes: NDSU.

    Suck it Snyder.

Surprised by the timing as he just was at Mizzou for his 2nd visit.

Must be a typo, there's no way ISU could pull a recruit that's holding an offer from NDSU....:jimlad:

I think we'll take any defensive commit at this point. The only requirement is to have 2 legs and to be alive.

That said, welcome aboard Mr. Spears.

6'2 and 205 with good speed....I like that he's got a frame to grow into. Should make a very nice LB in a few years.

Excellent get - had offers from Missouri, Kansas State, & Kansas. Welcome to the Cyclone family, Mr. Spears!

Also, Julian Good-Jones had offers from Kansas State & Oregon State. Ozigbo had multiple offers with the most notable being Wisconsin, Kansas State, Miami, Mississippi State, Iowa, & Boise State. Don't recall a recent time where three consecutive commits of ours had BCS offers such as these. Recruiting is on a pretty good roll here and think we can attribute that to our staff and most notably to our new additions.

Now let's get Demond Tucker!! We land him and this class will be at a new level.

Yep, landing some good recruits lately with "BCS" offers. Don't remember seeing such success in recruiting in such a short period of time before.

First thing I noticed was his arms to be long for his height. 6'2" is great but 6'2" with a longer than average wingspan is even better for an OLB.

At least, if he's actually 6'2".

    Welcome aboard, Marcel! Go Cyclones!
