Maybe Georges can teach Georgios to shoot like a whirling dervish.

No reason to confuse the Greek kid with that kind of language. I've been speaking English for almost 6 decades and I have no idea what that is.

I like the athleticism of our big men ... McKay, GT, and Niang.

You must be the lobster guy. It was a takeoff on his ability to go many different directions at once to get his shot off.

The key for GT will be for him to embrace a strength, conditioning and nutrition program, to set himself up for 2015-16.

By then hopefully he can fill out his body and learn from Georges, Hogue, McKay and Edozie about playing with some attitude.

Yes and getting minutes his true freshman year and taking his lumps in practice and in games. We have no idea if he'll stay more than 1-2-3 seasons here in Ames

Hopefully we put a lot of beat downs on this year to give him some minutes.

If GT can play about 5-10 minutes a game, that would be great this year. Get him some experience playing at this level. If he plays well I would have no problem with him playing more at the 5.

Whirling Dervishes are Turkish, not Greek. Though there's a few hundred thousand Greeks who were Turkish 100 years ago and visa versa. Anyway, yeah don't confuse the two...the two aren't exactly fond on one another all the time.

With his build and skill level, we might see him more at the 3 or 4 rather than always pounding inside.

Bahahaha. When's the last 7'1 3 you've ever seen? Especially at our vertically challenged program.

I'd say put him at the 1 since he's 7'1" he should be able to see over everyone and make great passes right?
