Mika's Eye Injury Update

    Spencer Linton ‏@Spencer_Linton 8h Hearing Eric Mika's eye injury involves scratched cornea(s). Eyes and surrounding area swelling up pretty badly. Lots of red & purple. #BYU

    Good thing is a scratched cornea heals pretty quickly. May miss a game, but from what I understand heals in a few days. Good news from my perspective.

    I get teh scratched cornea from time to time, just from abusing my contacts too much. He's going to want to stay in a dark room for a couple of days, I feel bad for the guy.

    Yeah, that's a tough injury to hear about for a fanbase. I hope he gets better quickly.

    Dude's a beast. I'm love to see him v McGary in a 1-on-1 matchup.

    Mika's a heck of a player. He matched up with our guys much better than I thought he would and played a really good game.

    Great to hear...I was worried it was something worse because it looked bad and he looked like he was in a lot of pain. Felt bad for the kid.

    Glad he's going to get better. Still have a hard time feeling too bad for him after he got nothing for the elbow clear out.

    Hope Milan gets well and I hope Kane reaches out to him which I'm sure he will. BYU will have a great year we may see them again.

    Thanks for the update. Regardless of how they played or who won, you never want to see these young folks sustain serious injury. I'm glad to hear that it's a relatively minor injury.

    Thats more on the refs though and less on Mika. He was being overly aggressive just like Kane.
