Most the models are coming to some general agreement on the path (Omaha to Waterloo line), I think its just a matter of amounts now. The NAM is showing greater amount then the GFS.

Is this going to screw with my commute from Austin to Ames on Thursday?

Hopefully this doesn't jack up our travels to Michigan on Friday night.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow. I want a white Christmas, then after that, it can all go away.

It can snow as much as it wants before or after I've driven to Iowa. As long as I don't have to travel in it.

For those predictions being as big as they are...I am surprised there is not much chatter about this storm! 8+ inches? Am I reading those charts correctly?

Probably because it's still a few days out and the models will change.

From some of the forecasts for this it looks like they are planning on a lot of wind with this?

ooooooo I'm hoping I get a work snow day on Friday..........and a white Christmas!

Even better if it results in a sledding party at my family's house that I can attend this year.
