ISU has been a safe haven for Tom Izzo castaways. Could we be in line for another one? A sophomore to be, NBC Sports says this about him: "A “stretch four,” the 6-foot-8 Kaminski shot 51 percent from the field and 49.4% from beyond the arc in 2013-14." With a bunch of bigs graduating in 2 years he could be a good addition. Sounds like he would fit Fred's style of play well. He was an ESPN top 100 player coming out of HS.

My initial thought is we can do better than him in the transfer market.

Obligatory other comments: The scholarships always work themselves out. I'm potentially ready for the next man in from our northern feeder program.

Averaged right at 5 points per game as a freshman on a pretty loaded Spartan team in only 12 minutes per game. Made 38 three pointers which ranks 5th all time for Michigan State freshmen. A 6'8 guy who can stretch the floor and hit the 3? Definitely want!

It's August, unless one of the newcomers doesn't show up. Things have already been worked out at least for the fall.

Never need to ask this question with Fred, if he wants a player, we'll make room.

Ya, if it were May I would agree with Erik's comment but doing it August without any scholarships available would be tough.

Odd time of year to announce a transfer.

If the kid from Greece comes for his official visit and doesn't like it or signs a pro deal in Europe, then this makes more sense.

Tsalmpouris? I didn't know this was an option. I still say no to Kaminsky. Rather try and get Dime or wait what to see what other trasnfers are available after next season.

Easily could play "3" to "5" in Fred's system

    49.4% from three-land (38/77) as a true freshman in the Big 10

I'm sure Fred could find a use for a "stretch" guy like that

Our posts in two years figure to be senior Georges, senior McKay, sophomore The Greek, and whatever Williams might bring there... there's definitely room, particularly after we lose Hogue next year, and Fred is going to need to rebuild that "line" for life after Georges in two years...

Since the school year hasn't started, it would be a scholarship for this year, correct? Unless he wanted to pay his own way to sit out this year. Because I don't think we currently have any scholarships available do we?

Great, another MSU transfer with baggage (why else would he be transferring so late in the game?).

He was suspended by Izzo a couple times last year for academic issues. Maybe there were summer class expectations he didn't meet or something.
