Does anybody know if Jamie Pollard/ISU were planning on putting up a 24/7 webcam during the construction going on at Jack Trice?

Maybe some who attended the scrimmage can talk about the construction, if not the scrimmage itself.

It specifically said that the construction is off limits to talk about. Any violators will be held up by there underpants on the crane. Just kidding, I'm not construction expect but there's some large piles of dirt and a fence is at the top of the south hills. Not really much else. Just some holes in the ground to me.

Maybe the cam should be permanent. You can check on the local weather as you can see a couple of flags waving.

I drove past Saturday and there isn't anything to see besides some piles of dirt and equipment.

That's really good quality. I imagine they will just turn it off on game days.

With the angle, it would be difficult to see much of a game, especially if you pixilate the scoreboard. It's going to make driving in & parking entertaining this year...we'll probably hook around & come in from the north.

Looks like PCI is exporting fill dirt from here to North of DMACC Ames Campus in which they are exporting dirt from there to somewhere else in town.

According to the cam, parking will be more congested than ever for a full house crowd....

As of 08-12-14. Someone said parking could be a challenge...to say the least.
As far as trees being saved didn't appear to be part of the plan as a number of them
have passed on. When I drive by I keep watching for a band of protesting tree huggers
    in full grievance mode.
