Weems was a great special teams guy last year and will also likely be on the roster. They seem to like him on special teams more than wr, so his chances of making the practice squad are better than some based on versatility.

WR Devin Aromashodu cut. I don't think Lenz will make it, but he is still there!

The cut to 75 players. The final cut down to 53 happens after the games this weekend. Then a few days for practice squads to shake out.

FYI - Todd Sturdy recruited Marquess Wilson to Washington State as well as Jeff Tuel who will be the starting QB for the Bills in week 1. Both out of CA I believe.

That sucks. Hopefully he ends up on somebody's practice squad. At least by getting cut this morning rather than tomorrow afternoon his agent will have an extra day to work something.

Too bad. The good news is that there will be a ton of transactions over the next few days as teams get down to 53 and start assembling their practice squad rosters. Maybe the Bears like him for one of those spots or another team saw something on game film that they like.

I payed close attention during the pre-season and that just didn't show itself at this level.

Yeah, he did. I wish he could have been on a team with the talent we will have this year and the coming years. He's a slot guy who can do a lot of short work but doesn't really have the size to move outside. I think if you had him in an environment where he could work the middle of the field, he would have opened a few more eyes.

As much as I hate Tom Brady it would have been awesome for him to be a backup for Amendola.
