I wonder how many of those 29,000 people are thinking "so they wont have any access to my internet history while I was in college, will they?"

So much of this is happening lately. My wife is worried right now because Michaels had a breach recently too.

There are days when it's extra good to be in an unwanted department. This is one of those days.

The person was trying to generate enough computing power to create bitcoins. Well that was stupid.

Isn't there a Computer Science class that's required for just about every major? The one where they teach you how to use Microsoft Office?

If it wasn't required, it was the easiest 4 credit online class you could take.
So, I'm sure a lot of people took it required or not.

(I think it was 4 credits? I could be wrong as it was a decade ago)

    Whoa, whoa, whoa...

You're telling me Comp Sci 103 is no more? How are people supposed to get the easiest 4 credits of "A" conceivably possible?

And to be honest, I actually did learn a few things in that class, mainly shortcuts that I wouldn't have found out on my own. Certainly not anywhere near 4 credits worth. But a few pointers.

Well, now Iowa State will know why if I'm not able to donate to them in the future. "Uh, you let people steal my identity and money."

(I will donate to them in the future.)
