Huge loss RT @stephenjnesbitt: Eron Harris has asked for and been granted a release from WVU basketball team. He averaged 17.2 ppg

Surprised by this. He accounted for a lot of their points this year from 3-point range and was only a Sophomore.

Must not have liked Huggy....why else would he leave? Had playing time, was putting up stats in a big conference. Getting games on ESPN ect

Whoa. Wonder if Staten returns this year? If he goes pro, they are hurting.

I realize it is an assumption that he is blocked from heading to another Big XII school, but can anyone confirm that Huggy Bear put this requirement into place? Talk about a guy that fits our system....

Ouch, that hurts. I however do like the fact that Anthony Lee may no longer be the most coveted recruit on the market, which may divert a tad bit of every team and their mom calling on Lee. Its crazy how much more attention these transfer get now than just a few years ago.

It'd be really weird to boo our own player every time he touched the ball...

Wow, thought WVU was gonna make a move to the top 3 of the league, but no so fast now.

A loss like this might certainly tilt him towards making the jump. Articles i saw said he's going to test the waters.

That's too bad for the league. Him and Staten were really damn good together this year. Anyone know why he's leaving?

Disagree. A better league is better for the teams therein.
