Seeing a lot of posts in that thread very similar to the ones they were posting before they met us and we sent Calhoun out a loser.

Gameplan the same as tonight, fix the turnover issues and fight a crowd that will be very similar to a home crowd for UCONN and we are in the Elite 8.

Is there a more arrogant fan base? Just like 2012, they're full of **** and vinegar, believing they'll just roll us like a Junior High team.

I hope we kick their ***** again.

Looking though the comments — I like this one:

    • "isu is one of those teams that looks like all the players are 25 yrs old and are weightlifters = we don't fare well against those types."

Always interesting to read how other fanbases view ISU teams — we're so familiar with it, we take some things for granted or don't realize other aspects.

  5. I watched their game last night. Outside of Napier they have some decent pieces, but nothing great overall. I would rather face them than Nova. We got a good draw here. If Virginia holds on and somehow gets MSU, we will be in Dallas. MSU's bigs scare me, but I will never ever doubt Hoiball.

    UConn must be destroyed.

UCONN broke Cy's arm. For that reason alone they must always be destroyed. (again)

How did that turn out again? I can't remember. Was it an accident or not?

    Here's a little smack talk:

"They have really cocky fans for a school that has a terrible athletic department."

Reminds me of in 2012 when they thought they were going to roll us because they were taller than us. I don't think they realize how good of rebounders Ejim, Kane, and Hogue are. Kane and Napier might be about even, but after that they have nobody that rebounds like Ejim and Hogue on average.

Here's a gem from their forum

Yeah guys, coaching is so overrated. That's why Stanford beat a team of essentially 5 McDonald's All Americans...it had nothing to do with coaching. That's why Diante Garrett doubled his per game point average and became an NBA player after working with Hoiberg for one season, and how DeAndre Kane increased his 3 point shooting from 26% in 3 years at Marshall to 40% in under one year of working with Hoiberg.

Are you kidding me? For a fan base that's won a national championship or two, some of these guys know jack **** about the sport. Yes, I know UConn fans are reading this too.

Napier is really good, and Boatright is pretty good too.

Me too, but UNC's bigs were absolutely killing us late in the second half and we still found a way to win.

    In Hoiberg We Trust

If UConn't fans think we're cocky, I'd like them to know that I haven't even started on their little team.

UConn will be destroyed. Too bad for them they got in the way.
